Off to watch Donegal win against Tyrone. Hope they have more luck than Armagh did yesterday

Straightforward post and no messing. Looking forward to next weeks match.
After 67 years wearing the colours why would I change. You never change when you’re winning, or at any time.
Bad season last time, new season starts next week.
Let’s get behind our new manager and give him the support he needs.

“Ange, it seems, is going to go gung ho with the kids, and I include Shaw and Uroghohige in that, or he is going to use them until he can get his 3 or 4 new signings in to share the load.”
I don’t think Ange is going gung-ho through choice. We have a threadbare squad and he has no other option on account of injuries and players who are still ours but may very well be sold in the coming days/weeks.
He has a gargantuan task on his hands and I fear he will not get support he requires to evidence his qualities.

If that was in response to my earlier question, then thanks for the reply.
When you posted this:
`People who have a vote should know this stuff.`
did you really mean people who want to use their vote as opposed to simply having one?

Of course he saw your post.
Nothing anyone said suggested any lack of understanding of how cooncil elections work.
As a cult hater he votes for all available Unionists.
That means that he gets Tories elected to the local cooncil and, for argument’s sake, demand financial compromises such as reducing budget in roadside grasscutting services in response for supporting other proposals
Too nice a day for his classic nitpickery, aff oot.

You’ve not quite grasped this yet, have you?
In the Cooncil elections I vote for everyone on the ballot paper, even the cult one.

The manager has his hands tied behind his back re the tie next week.
All we can do is give him 100% support.
We know why we are in this position and it’s certainly nothing to do with him.
Get the distinct impression he will not suffer fools gladly, more power to his elbow.

`If you’ve got a vote you should use it`
In a nutshell. Every party says: Vote for us and this is how we will run the Capitalist system. The Capitalist system is not one I support so I don`t vote and I see spoling my ballot paper as a futile ,Citizen Smith type of gesture.

Celtic are nowhere near ready for European game on tuesday but Ange and dom are not responsible for that in my eyes. Now if the same situation arises next season they will both be accountable.
I liked that Ange was honest about the team being poor. He done it in a way that did not single out individuals or pass blame. But everyone of those players know it’s not good enough.
Ange knows exactly what we need to improve in terms of recruitment. It’s not a surprise he has added real pace up top and players that interchange well. He intends to play high up the pitch so the pacey centreback starfelt being tracked makes complete sense too (also appears to play on the left hand side). Welsh is decent and will improve and the other youngsters look like they have potential.
Given the transfer activity already done the prority positions needs to be rightback and leftback. 433 will not work if the players in those positions dont add width and quality in the final 3rd of the pitch. Montgomary and o’connor may prove to
be good enough in time but not yet, not when there is so much inexperience around them. Without trying to be harsh ralston looks miles off it and despite the fact taylor gets into good positions he rarely delivers a decent cross never mind a good one. Who knows about boli, his first pass when he came on was short and led to problems. Still think he is better than taylor mind.
Personally I would like to see james McCarthy approached to add a bit of dig in the middle of the pitch. Think he would fit well into Ange’s system.
Can add a forward if and when griff/ eduard goes.

That match report you reproduced on Aidan McGeady and the Jambos boo boys, it started well but quickly descended into ‘he brings it on himself ‘ territory! No explanation of why he was booed as her warmed up, came on etc. Scotland really has no interest (certainly journalists don’t) in dealing with anti Irish racism does it?

what I think I have learned from the politicos is –
At UK elections you have to vote Labour
At Scottish Election you can vote for anyone but not the SNP.
At local elections you should vote Tory.
At scottish referendums – must vote No to independence.
amd most impotantly all of that must be set against what the last Celtic result was.
cant wait for Iirsh referndum.
We know we are unprepared for out match on Tuesday.
We’ve known we would be for months.
We know we are short of defensive game ready recruits.
We’ve known they were needed months ago.
We know the board fiddled………………..
But to come on here EVERY day repeating the same multiple greetin’ faced posts is as boring as a day in jail.
We know we are not in the place we would like to be and we know why.
We’ve got a new manager in place, although some of you don’t rate him. Some of us do.
We are signing players and if they are Ange’s picks this process will take time.
We are, by all accounts still looking to strengthen.
The manager has given a lot of youngsters a chance in the 4 friendlies we have played, with mixed results.
It may be that he needs to play some of them on Tuesday.
Personally I’d play the tea lady before any of our overrated wantaways.
So we will see.
Me?
I am content that my blood pressure remains constant when I post on here, however, I do worry about some of you.
I look forward to Tuesday’s match because it’s my club playing in the Champions League, at home, albeit with a limited crowd.
So for all our problems I will still be cheering the Bhoy’s and Ange on on Tuesday night, in fact I canny wait!.
And at the end of the day…..you never know!
C’MON THE CELTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fraser Forster? Not for me.
Wouldn’t come when it counted so let him fester on the Southampton bench.

Before they lost.
Scottish Cooncil elections use the STV system.
You rank candidates in order of preference.
It’s more effective to vote for every candidate than simply to cast a vote for your preferred candidate.
People who have a vote should know this stuff.
Barkas
Welsh BItton Urughide
Soro Shaw
Abada McGregor Turnbull Montgomery

There isn’t one player in the squad who wouldn’t leave now if they got a good enough offer.
So none of them are any different to FF, in that regard.
If only they had the same level of ability.
