Sorry to post this during a Celtic game, but the situation regarding Scotland’s newest club and the national media has now gone beyond the pale.
The newspapers, both written and online became sevco fanzines long ago. I will never read a Scottish newspaper ever again.
Tonight, BBC Scotland the national broadcaster to whom we are forced to give money, finally dispensed with any pretence of impartiality and firmly positioned themselves as sevco’s broadcaster of choice despite the corrupt new Govan shower currently banning them. Surreal.
They trailed last night’s sevco gubbing for weeks, paid sevco nearly 100k of licence payer’s money, broadcast it live on all of their media platforms and apparently the tv output was ludicrously skewed in favour of guess who with the ‘same club’ nonsense being relentlessly pushed.
St Johnstone swat the lower league newbies aside easily.
BBC Scotland’s ‘sports’ report tonight? Sevco gubbing didn’t happen. Airbrushed. Not a word. Showing goals from Ross County. Even my missus commented on the astonishing double standards.
I fully intend writing to the BBC as a licence payer asking for an explanation. This is now unacceptable.
