Am watching MOTD and Milner was very complimentary of Fraser, I don’t think it’s in the big mans nature to try and wind somebody up, I loved him as a goalie, BUT if you would prefer to be in Southampton on you go, sometimes, money isn’t everything, and going to Southampton hasn’t exactly helped his Engurlund career, do a Chris Sutton, do a Scott Sinclair, do a Steve Guppy, earn a great living in front of fans who will adore you ……
By the way, same with that Henrik guy, why leave ? Man U & Barca ???

Growing up in the affluent Coatbrig, black ash was only in Fauldhouse and some scheme quite near Springburn, at least our parks had grass, with plenty of broken Buckie bottles on them, it was a skill to make sure when you got chopped you avoided the glass, thankfully it being green it helped :-)

Gerry, the England goalkeeping coach is also Southampton’s goalie coach so I can understand if Fraser wanted to advance his international career, it hasnt worked out well for Fraser on that front, why he went to Southampton.

Had a busy day transporting family to Belfast Airport for a flight to Glasgow.
Lovely day for the job and baby slept all the way,
There was a badly signposted diversion at the Castledawson roundabout, though.
On arriving at the airport, the car park barrier wouldn’t lift and remote assistance from the Man in the Hut was required.
On leaving the car park, same man had to come out of his Hut and get me out of the place.
If the diversion notices were poor on the outward journey, then they were virtually non existent on the return.
This meant an eight mile odyssey, into the unknown, until I retraced my route.
Plain sailing after that, until I got to Altnagelvin, in Derry.
The PSNI were controlling traffic at the lights, whilst a motley ensemble of misfitting jackets and bowler hats, bearing the title, Sons of Ulster, trundled past, with their ill tuned flutes and clattering drums.
As if my day couldn’t get any worse, Sainsbury’s only had ONE beef tomato on their shelf.
When I was in there on Tuesday, they only had ONE then, too.
I asked an assistant if they only bought them in singly!!
Anyway, all’s well that ends and I am heading for my cradle, safe in the knowledge that if I wake up tomorrow, I will still be a Celtic supporter.
Goodnight, like minded subscribers.

iPad about to conk out, Brendan has been influenced by our Tommy Burns, that’s the connection, when I red your post I thought if my wee mum who passed March’08 she loved Tommy, she would have lived Brendan but in my opinion she would have loved Neil Francis just as much
Enjoy these great times, again the rubbish times were just as good, as Thomthetim posted, we will wake up Celtic fans
I have maybe been sucking some life from the blog these past few weeks but, when fate decides to kick you hard in places that hurt, she wears tackety boots with steel toe caps.
2 weeks on from my brother’s death, my mother has had enough of mourning and has decided to join her favourite son.
Bridie Anton was 88 years 3 months and 5 days old on Sunday. That was her alloted span. Like my brother, who missed his youngest grandchild’s communion today, she was unable to make the celebration for her great grand-child.
My mother was born into a subsitence farm life, earned pennies herding cows, and was sent into service at an early age as there was no money to keep families together. She made the journey from Gweedore to Glasgow for economic reasons and met and got to know my father in this strange city, even though they both lived within 3 or 4 miles of each other in Gweedore.
Raised in a family with her 4 brothers and 3 sisters, she produced 4 sons and 3 girls of her own. She had a hard life and is at peace now. She had the sacraments administered on Saturday as we knew her breathing was laboured but she knew no pain in the end and we are grateful for that.
Having lost my father in ’93, I have lost my older brother and my mother within the last 2 weeks. Suddenly, I am the oldest in my family and I do not like the sound of that at all.
So, all of those who prayed and expressed good thoughts for my brother, I’d ask you to pray for the soul of Bridie Anton, a simple woman, no plaster saint, but a life hard lived and well.
And pray for those of us that remain.
