A very tough time for you but you have, I am certain, the necessary qualities of the mind to see you through ( even when the other members of your family call you `Auld yin` 0:-) ).

    All the very best,

SFTB, sad news for those left behind but maybe better for your mum.

The loss of a child is possibly the most devastating life event for any parent and Bridie would have felt that hard and sore. Her suffering for Danny is no more and she is at rest in a far better place.

I lost both my parents within 6 weeks of each other 30 years ago, my dad first. When I told my youngest (4 at the time) that his gran had died the night before, he simply said “she died of a broken heart” and then asked for a cup of tea! Seems like Bridie maybe also died of a broken heart.

My local PP always says we have a requiem Mass where those that are left mourn for each other at the loss, but primarily we are there to celebrate the life and the transcendence of a mortal body into a spiritual being. God has taken her home and her journey is over.

Stay strong and I will light a candle for Bridie and those that remain in Celtic’s spiritual home this evening after work.

  5. Cathro at Hearts reminds me of Ronny Deila with us. They both really know their stuff but seem to lack in the ability to inspire their players.

I watched one of European matches in a pub called the Oscar Wilde (can’t remember which match). Your kid may struggle to find anywhere showing a league match though, particularly as Chelsea – West Brom and Everton – Watford are on at the same time.

    Useless Facts of the Day

Celtic beat St Johnstone 4-1 on Saturday 6th May. That gave us 97 points and 96 goals scored.

Celtic beat St Johnstone 1-0 on Saturday 25th January (our first league game after winning 2-1 at Ibrox). If we had stopped playing league football that day we would still be ahead of Der Hun on goal difference!

We beat St Johnstone 5-2 on Sunday 5th February; if that was our last league game of the season, we would still be ahead of the Dandy Dons on goal difference!

Maybe we only play each team 3 times next season to make the league more competitive!

Never been to the Cafe Rizz to watch Celtic but have been to:

    Blarney Pub • Methfesselstrasse. 4 • 10965 Berlin • Tel.: 030/78898225

    Also in Kreuzberg.

I see everybody is advertising Chelski vs. West Brom on their websites. I expect that will get some preference since they could win the title on Friday.

Also worth a try is The Lir:

    http://www.thelir.de/

Great wee Irish Pub run by metal Irish, Liverpool supporters but good lads. They have a big screen through in the back room ans two screens in the bar, they would put the Celtic game on one screen for sure.

  24. The best thing that could have happened yesterday was that thug Garner getting that winner. All the woes of the past month have been put to bed over on Munter Media.Mc Kay and garner are stars again.Pedro will be getting big bucks to buy a CH,a quality mid,and a star striker.55 is back on the cards for next year.Oh,and the Jags have joined the ever growing list of teams who”Hate them”.Set fire to a Butchers Apron they did. Some calling it treason.LOL.

They may be the vilest scum on earth, but I have to hand it to them, they always give me a great belly laugh .

Bit harsh to call them illiterate.

Shakespeare wasn’t deemed illiterate by introducing-or making up!-new words, about 500 of them,to the language. He is still hailed as a genius, and rightly so!

Credit where it’s due-the world is a better place for knowing we had a legned in our midst. The Green Brigade will never match that…
