Didn’t want to be overtly political MM.

    Glad you caught my drift.

Thats a clip of 2 frustrated guys who have completely run out of ideas

you have to feel for them

Exactly! This us what happens when you count your chickens, when you only look backwards, when you rest on your laurels with a self satisfied smirk, when you don’t make an effort to know the enemy, when you say, “What are you bitching about, we’ve won 9 in a row?” When you don’t plan, when you are full of hubris and entitlement, when you chant HWG10IAR before you have even started the season.

I see some of the previously deluded are finally coming around to the view that there is “Time enough for counting when the dealing’s done.” Our abysmal pre-season set off alarm bells with many Celtic fans. Unfortunately, the Board, manager, players and many fans did not have the prescience to get the message. Those that did were derided on here as Huns or pantywetters.

After sounding an early note of pessimism about our direction, I was asked on here, “You don’t seem to take enjoyment from watching Celtic. Why do you do it?”

The chickens are now coming home to roost, and it was all so avoidable. That is the great tragedy of this season.

I fear that a quality shyster can spot a low rent copy at 3.5 miles.

If we had worked at the football to the exclusion of all else we would be out of sight.

I fear he had heard about all the rumours regarding green on green action at CP.

He was pretty close to the truth but I do not think he could have imagined the carnage of the past 8 weeks unless he was directing it himself.

PL has done a brilliant job — single bullet through both feet with a ricochet up our left nostril.

  6. Can’t believe I’m saying this but it looks like Neil is deliberately playing with one up front knowing it’s a disaster.

He can’t be that bloody stupid, can he ????

    Sick as the proverbial parrot

  7. Two wins from twelve is pretty dramatic even if you post safely from the CQN mineshafter brigade and IMO Neil Lennon was a Celtic managerial memory from any particular landmark moment of your want, some considerable time ago. The necessary routine changes to the side were absent again today, and only one of Milan’s flops was replaced by Chris Jullien. Celtic were flat and predictable as well and as the new bumpy Parkhead pitch, the bumpy ride was guaranteed early doors, from when clean through Edouard, failed to bulge the net.

The richest bench in Celtic history sat passively like us watching the same side minus one go through the motions, with no pace, no width, no dynamism, no Celticness, tired weary legs. Players drained of support, sweeping the ball from side to side, some of them don’t need a new manager they need a miracle. The main midfield creative a poor substitute for James invisible Forrest, failed to trap, even free of his right back role. Star man Christie toiled too wide, in oblivion.

Jullien did a Duffy with the diagonals, Rogic playing more minutes than he ever did in his heyday, fails to turn the clock back and looked lost trying for a cameo. Scott Brown has inherited the invisible cloak, is there nobody at the club can cross, head a ball, or shoot from outside the box. There’s so much wrong at Celtic its difficult to know where the new manager would start.

With this new nothing to VST Celtic, other than the inevitable slow motion Abraham Zapruder away goal video, the club only needs seek managers who possess a magic bullet, never mind a wand. We’ve separated the wheat from the transfer window and kept the chaff, and when you witness games where nobody plays well, you’ve not just a problem for man of the match, you’ve a problem.

‘They’ didn’t know what to do before ten in a row started to slip away, now that its going like an otter off the riverbank, they sure as hell don’t know what to do now.

    Hail Hail

  8. the league is not lost – we need to get staff in to galvanize and change the momentum. we win games in hand – beat them – they drop couple of points and the pressure will get to them.

WE MUST ACT NOW – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO LOSE.

New manager – taste victory at hampden final – 2-3 new signings in January and claw back into the race!!

  9. the board have had too many warnings now – they MUST have a plan B – I expect new manager announced tomorrow.

  10. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

Looks like the SMSM may get their footage JinkyRS.

We ALL need to be careful here. These NEDS will drive away decent people.

I want change, but this is NOT how to do it.

  11. ST TAMS on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 5:14 PM

‘The only thing I’m surprised at . Is that it has taken so many this long to agree that the manager is the issue’

He is a massive issue, but not the main issue.

The person who appointed him in the showers is.

No doubt you were called a sleekit hun chump for doing so….

  13. Goals against in the league in the last two seasons….. 20….19……this year already 14…. Basically same players….. Two reasons for me….. Goalies and Scott brown inability to cover as well…….. I think laxalt is waay over rated…… Great energy sure…. But his passing is terrible…. Think we must look elsewhere

  14. ADI_DASSLER NOT FOR 2ND BEST on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 7:35 PM

    Bigot pound..blue pound…facts ?

That is all bullshit; we are absolutely dreadful.

    No excuses whatsoever.

  15. Evening all,

    Who succeeds Neil Lennon?

Who could compete, drag us back into the title race and ultimately win 10 in a row?

It’s slim pickings. I’m disinterested in the long term at the moment. As desperate as it sounds, we just need a six month bounce.

One name I haven’t heard mentioned. He’s always been miles out of our reach and he also played for rangers. I doubt very much if he would consider the job for a nano second but I suspect he hold celtic in extremely high regard.

If I was Dermot Desmond I’d be begging Alex Ferguson to win the 10th title his mentor Jock Stein never quite managed.

  16. STEBHOY.

Admire your optimism, but who is going to take points off them? They have already been to Pittodrie, Easter Road, Rugby Park and Celtic Park. They have 19 clean sheets in their 24 games all season, scored 45 goals in the League and lost 3. We couldn’t do that in our invincible season. The ways things are, they are more likely to emulate the latter than to drop points. If Lennon is in place on Jan 2, we will be humped at the Bigotdome, because he has not shown any capability whatsoever in how to deal with their 4-3-3. The zombies have completely owned us in the last 3 games, and he just stands on the sideline, frozen and utterly inept.

  17. lets all do the huddle on

as well as Lenny we have to ship out our full list of defensive players.

as well as Lenny we have to ship out our full list of players.

  18. Bhoy From The Boyne on

We still have 24 games to play this season in the league, so still possible to turn this around. But again, it needs a BR esque appointment to happen and very very quickly.

  19. Dermot Desmond if he has The Celtic Fans and at Heart ,he needs to replace Neil Lennon soon,he should be on the Phone to Martinez and Sean Maloney and ask them could they come to Celtic to take over from Lennon and Kennedy ASAP.

  20. Bhoy From The Boyne on

These players need to be inspired as much as the fans do at the moment. Players get their inspiration (big moves aside) from learning & developing under top class coaches. Get it done Celtic!

  21. I have no words on this forum for our board at this moment for fear of a red card from Paul. However, the issues we see before us this season are entirely of NFL, his management team and the players making. Team was invested in heavily and they are not performing even to a standard to beat Ross County and St Johnstone at home – just think and say that to yourself. We are so bad we cannot beat Ross County to continue a winning cup run nor even come out and at least look like we want to beat St Johnstone. We are sinking fast and as P67 predicted a few weeks ago, it looks like they are going to get much worse. Unfathomable and unimaginable – feckin fizzing having to listen to Dave King snigger at us and headlines of how slippy G has revitalised Scottish football. Please Celtic, lance this boil now and let us move forward.

  22. LETS ALL DO THE HUDDLE on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 7:48 PM

should be easier to get tickets for away games next season

    And home games…

  23. Go tell the Spartim on

Are DD and PL having their tea? Surely to …. they’ve told him that his services are no longer required, I’m hoping (in vain) that DD let’s PL have his pudding before he’s told to gtf (not likely )

  24. Grandson probably influenced by Grandpa…. Father Christmas can we have a defence like Ross County or St Johnston cause ours just doesn’t seem very good.

    Says it all…..
