  1. LETS ALL…………….

Aye, absence makes the player mair brilliant than he previously was.

    Mikey J, a gie in.

  2. AuroraBorealis79 on

If anyone comes on here tonight and says we can still win the league should be tested for drugs.

We can still win the league……..

Though not under the current regime.

I am resigned to losing it though. Already congratulating my zombie supporting friends

  3. Lenny will be a TV pundit in time for the huns winning the treble. He can whisper something sweet in Sleekit’s ear.

  4. SUTTON1888

We stood still and that’s on that boards head,

    ……………………………..

BUT THEY WON’T AND WILL NEVER ADMIT TO THAT.

    PITCHFORKS FOR SALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed and would say our players are not exempt from criticism. They have downed tools while some of us struggle to pay for a ST to watch on a 10 inch tablet

It is me I feel sorry for! I have enjoyed nine years of laughing at the dirty barsteward huns at my work, they will be lined up waiting for me tomorrow! Maybe I should not have laughed so loud, kidding, I loved every minute of my nine year gloat. As someone said a few weeks ago don’t be sad it’s over, be glad it happened.

Tell your work mates that we are 2-1 up in the 9IAR stakes, and they have 8 more League Titles to win before they can claim an equaliser – and if that doesn’t work fall back on the ol ‘your clubs deed’ response🙂

  7. AURORABOREALIS79 – the swab test is on its way over. In the meantime drink lots of water, helps flush the chemicals out 😳

Smile at them, and ask them to look at what we have achieved in the last few years …..and if they try that old chestnut…..ah that’s because we were in different divisions….reply with ” Why was that?

    Celtic still.

  9. lets all do the huddle on

just watched spurs defend balls getting launched into their box for 45 minutes and cleared everything

we cant defend for 45 seconds

  10. LAZYDYNAMITE on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 6:09 PM

‘I am not even sure we have one single player who would get into the sevco team.’

    ###

    That’s nonsense.

  11. My VST was a nightmare from the 39th minute.

    Freezing, buffering, blurring.

Anyone else have problems or well worth the 600 quid?

  12. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Credit due to CQNers tonight.

Notwithstanding the hurt, bewilderment and (in some cases) rage being felt – the majority of posts since full time have been reasonable, heartfelt and smart.

    Respect.

I can actually stomach bad performances and bad results (I’ve witnessed worse).

But it’s harder to swallow seeing a Celtic team at home being comfortably managed out of the game by the likes of Ross County and St Johnstone.

The blueprint for blunting Celtic is out there in the public domain for everyone to see and use.

Pablo – I’ve actually got the last thread open in another tab.

After today I now have to disagree with its title.

We still have some fantastically talented individuals in our employ ….

…. but I’ve lost a lot of faith that “There is a team in this squad”

    Not under this management.

    Hail hail

    Keep The Faith

  13. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

Philbhoy – I had similar today and previously with VST.

I genuinely don’t know what was worse.

Missing the entire first half ….

… or seeing the entire second.

    Hail hail

    Keep The Faith

  14. For years and in my opinion I have been banging on about Peter Lawwell being a INCOMPETANT, OVERPAID, MEDLING CONTROLLING C E O, while having to watch the self harm he’s caused through not letting managers manage, 5 way agreement, Res 12, the blue pound and potential top managers like B R not coming to Celtic because of his controlling interference. From a position of strength we are just about to give up the ten in early December. To go forward this man should be first to go !!!!! LAWWELL OUT

  15. D O’C18

Celtic have repeatedly throughout their history blown it from a position of strength. The club threw away the first chance of ten in a row when they chased David Hay out the door after he’d decided to stay. That cost us George Connelly too. This time is even more unforgivable.

  16. That equalizing goal has probably prolonged the agony. I reckon Lenny would have been mutually consented tomorrow if that had been another defeat.

He’s lost the dressing room IMO. These players are just going through the motions.

Otherwise, their collective heads have gone down and we simply don’t have the coaching team to turn things around.

I doubt very much that we’ll get within 7 points of Sevco between now and the end of the Season.

We’re going to need snookers even before we turn up at Ibrox in January!

  17. Vinnie the dog

    Agree.

Think we look frantic, anxious and soft in the tackle. We don’t often win a physical challenge up front. Julien and Turnbull won headers in the 2nd half but couldn’t hold off the defender to direct it on goal. Eduoard couldn’t do much physically and Griff rolled a few challenges but couldn’t come out the challenge with much. This then leaves us trying to play through and round. With lots of defenders packed in, this is proving too hard. Technique is not enough.

  18. Let’s say we start with Barkas in goal and a back four of Elhamed, Ajer, Julien, Taylor.

That’s a total of just over £18m. Could we have spent even more? Maybe but are we getting bang-for-buck there? Julien looks particularly expensive.

  19. FRED COLON on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 6:12 PM

The huns could take an administration deduction and still win the league

Mmmmmmmmm now there there’s a plan the hun might consider , and our board would applaud them …

  20. No Bobby Does It Petta on

Could all have been so different if Rogic buried that easy header in the opening minutes.

He was abysmal today btw. Needs dropped.

  21. PHILBHOY on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 6:25 PM

My VST was a nightmare from the 39th minute.

    Freezing, buffering, blurring.

Anyone else have problems or well worth the 600 quid?

    ———————————-

Mine was fine but I kept getting pictures of 11 individuals all having a go at half hearted passing, tackling and big punts up the park for the final 15 minutes.

Also pictures of a ‘coaching’ group one (Gavin Strachan) watching Christmas with the Kranks on his iPad, John Kennedy shrugging his shoulders when asked a question by his manager. And Neil Lennon looking unhappy but clueless about how to change it.

Seriously though I’ve had no issues but others have. Lastly who decided that ‘the enhanced match day experience ‘ was enhanced by Ruairi Hamilton spending games going over Celtic defeats and wondering how the opposition might score against Celtic accompanied by a motley crew of former players who talk endlessly and say nothing with zero insight???!!!!!

  22. RTB & BhoyJoe, great responses, the kind I would think of 10 minutes after the event as usual, I am now better prepared for tomorrow and ready tae getintathum!

  23. Ray Singh-Carr on

How can it all have gone so badly wrong so quickly?

If I might use a boxing analogy, we have latterly produced the equivalent of Tyson Fury losing on points to Susan Boyle then being stopped by Adele.

We seem to have a major shareholder that is hellbent on pursuing a fanciful plan to somehow shoehorn us into the EPL and believes that the only way that can ever happen is if we are pitched in as a joint venture with Sevco.

Asleep at the wheel doesn’t even begin to describe it.

  24. Further from my point about our £18m back four plus keeper, Sevco’s back four plus keeper today cost a combined £3.4m. They’ve conceded three goals.

Have they recruited better players or simply better coached?

These are questions the board needs to ask and heads need to roll…

  25. FRED COLON on 6TH DECEMBER 2020 6:12 PM

The huns could take an administration deduction and still win the league

    Fred

That’s their game plan in my opinion, they did it once so won’t stop at two which will leave them in a better financial position

  26. The hand of God on

You get the feeling that the board are intentionally winding the fans up the fact that NFL and his management team are still in their jobs is a joke…I think when “rangers” lift their first “major” trophy this season and add it to the original clubs trophy haul and the Celtic board dont challenge it (which they wont) a lot of fans will decide enough is enough and not renew their season tickets..not because they are “entitled” but the Celtic board will expose themselves as part of the cover up…sad times.

  27. PL started playing games in 2006 and 2007.

He has been at it for nearly 15 years.

When it is all added up he has cost us £100mill in lost revenue and £20mill in wages.

GASL @ TFOD2 is small potatoes compared to his chancer.

Second rate property bean counter with delusions of adequacy.

We have a textbook example of bad management.

Failing at every level yet some still clapped.

  28. We’re trying Neil Lennons statement that’s true but it’s the ones we expect to score and that’s the big problem, the other problem is motavation which hasn’t been happening,Neil Lennon should do the right thing and step aside ,Your words I’ve tried every system with these players, and it’s not worked out,So if he is really serious then he should hand in his notice this evening. And the plain truth off the matter is wether we like it or not our recruitment of players has been a disaster,So hopefully with a new manager and Coaches in place before the transfer window in January they can have a look and see who is for the off and the ones that can stay, and bring some off the loanees back to ,whom I thought were treated very unfair under Lennon and Kennedy.

  29. I really feel for Neil – probably not a popular view right now! My ire is reserved fir the Board who have played a brinkmanship game – keeping ahead of Sevco – making the naive assumption that they would play by finical rules😀😀😀

The board always wanted a ‘strong Sevco’ – I have rejected the thoughts put forward by some on here that Sevco winning the league wouldn’t disturb our Execs that much – now I’m not so sure.

I’m mystified by signings who never play what is that about?

Young Demble has disappeared- what happened? There was a rumble on hete but it seemed to be strangled.

There is something seriously wrong under the surface at CP and I hold Lawell and Dempsey culpable.

  30. Do you know what I was trying to take a wee sabbatical … but even for this Neil Lennon fanatic, blind faither, heid in the sand, “Lennon clique” or even “Lennon cult” as some posters have been referred too…. in my opinion the players no longer believe in their manger …. so the end game is inevitable

Over the last few days, Dandan, Bheaver, Sid1888 and Hand of God … heartbreaking posts to read but I hope any wee bit that this blog or posting helps you then it’s a massive positive …

    Hail Hail … and

    No one walks alone 🍀

  31. Can someone kindly let me know how I go about claiming last seasons ticket money (2) back….

    Thanks ….

  32. Manager and coaches should have been bagged when we had a chance of the league, problem was if Kennedy was his understudy we have found out that is now or should be impossible, so get the applications out of the shredder and interview people then leave the club Lawwell, you are a disaster on your shoulders rests much of this collapse.

AGM this week, watch out for the selection of questions they decide to answer.

  33. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but when are Forrest and MJ due back?

At least natural width would stop everyone running in to each other around the ‘D’.

‘’We’ve got hundreds of wingers’, so said Brendan Rogers.

    Where did they go?

  34. That article I posted this is what BR had to say.

“It’s no good if you just sit back and get comfortable, Being comfortable is the enemy of progress, the minute you think you’re doing okay it can quickly disappear, and that’s the greatest institutions”. Brendan Rodgers warning to the Celtic board before he left
