just in from game. I sit area 102 with 2 of my Bhoys.

Man in front took ill about 70th minute.

The response from staff n 1st aiders in ground was PATHETIC. Slow , dithering, incompetent & dangerous.

I could see paramedics in the JS stand talking. There were no police. The wrong area was related inside the ground. Eventually 2 young 1st aiders strolled round as if on a day out.they went to wrong row first .

Pathetic response. The first aiders looked confused, scared out of their depth..

The man was with his young grandson who was naturally scared ..

My goodness to witness such incompetence and indifference was awful.. Too many there just wanting a wear of a uniform ..

I hope the man is ok.. It would’ve been easier calling 999 from my seat..

Get it sorted Celtic. Area 102 TODAY.. About 70 th min..

  2. lol! To all zombies, we have replaced you with ICT!

NL “I take my hat off to the players,it’s a big, big win,and with Inverness losing today, psychologically it gives everyone a big lift.”

  3. Back home in jig time, and before Jobo’s 6.00 gig time. (thank you JB)

Celtic opened brightly and scored two great goals before fatigue and nervousness nearly turned a simple victory, into a dodgy weekend.

Bright open play ripped St Johnstone a new one, and in the first half it looked like a question of how many. It was Adam Matthews fed in by Commons where Celtic looked most dangerous and the players had clearly been briefed after Milan, to make the pace of the game, and allow no hangovers.

St.Johnstone simply never coped, but with Boeriggter under control on the right

Matthews was missed, despite Sammi being Sammi on the left. Biton played himself into the game switching passes across midfield but was deployed too deeply, and Pukki looked more than useful in the first half, of the proverbial game of two halves, and an interval illuminated, by the effervescent Battered Bunnet and his new haircut.

It was all a stroll in the park especially for Virgil and ever better Efe, until St.Johnstone unleashed the gameplan of damage limitation till, the last fifteen, and were it not for Fraser Forster’s athleticism, they would have snatched a point from zero. It’s well nigh impossible to mention the SPL and an anonymous referee, and today was no different, he was galvanised by Saints first and nearly aided them to the equaliser, allowing a dodgy free kick ten yards up the park from where it happened.

Pukki’s scoring rate deserves a mention, as well his shoulders a pair of which I haven’t seen since that heart of a lion, Willie Wallace.

    M.O.M Virgil Van Dijk.

  4. Just back in. We were brilliant in the first half. Best I’ve seen in a long time. We seemed to lose our way in the second half, partly through losing Adam Mathews and, I imagine, fatigue from the Champions League. FF again back to his best, thank Ghod.

  5. Questioned before why Balde did not start but after seeing him giving a post-it to Stokes because he cant speak english I understand why now…

  6. Gene's a Bhoy's name on

Just back from watching port vale against steven pressley’s coventry – he has them playing a high pressing quick counter game -they should have been better than 2-1 at ht. Vale turned the tables in the second half running out 3-2 winners. A very entertaining game.

  7. Just home fae the game. Great first half. Anthony and Teemu worked well together. Adam magic. 2nd half- Milan legs and minds. Good day ICT lose.

  8. Neil must be having a laugh…

NL: It was our best performance this season and certainly the best we’ve played after a Champions League game.

  9. Agree with earlier poster who said Biton looked lost. He looked as confident as Bambi out there. still early days so hope he finds his feet over the next few weeks. efe and Virgil really work together and Early hope for Pukki. So good times

  10. Biton comes on for a few minutes to make his debut, and is immediately criticised.

    ‘Bambi’…

    ‘Looked lost’…

    Give the guy time ffs!

Never saw the game but are you sure he never got a deflection on muldinis goal… New set of irons… Oh so close!!

  12. Don’t understand the criticism of big Nir. He is in the door 5 days. Looks a great prospect to me.

  13. Can only comment on what i saw today , and did say I hope he finds his feet with more game time , not dismissing him at all!

As I said earlier , good times , not negative

  14. Joe Filippis Haircut on

I like Everton and Robert Martinez. Everton only unbeaten EPL team so far.

  17. Totally agree Joe. I am well aware I’ve only seen the guy play for a matter of minutes, and that was all I was commenting on. I hope everyone we sign turns out to be a belter

  18. Best 45 minutes out balling entertainment we have had at CP for a long time in the first 45 minutes today

Been watching CFC since the early 70s and honestly cannot remember us having two CB in the same team so keen to play with the ball!

This has the potential to be an epic season in terms of football being played all the way from the back

Great entertainment even in the panic stations at the end!

Pukki has very good movement and will score goals for us – even although at this stage he isn’t the penalty box striker we could do with

Watched big Balde work hard at the interval with Danny McG on heading the ball – I really think that if he settles in to our country and way of playing he could become a goal scoring machine

Biton just needs to get used to the way the game is played and most importantly – refereed in Scotland. He will soon realise that you have to play until the ref actually whistles since they very often let go assaults that would normally bring red cards anywhere else in Europe.

At the same time they will be sticklers for CFC taking free kicks from the exact centimetre

Where the offence took place – while allowed the opposition to take a free kick 20 yards from the offence – while the ball is still moving and the St J player has his hand on it!

Onwards and upwards – great times to be a Tim!

    HH

  19. So Nir Biton been getting it on here? After 45 mins?

Some people will never learn, maybe listening to the Snyde Hun 5-side team would give a more balanced analysis of our players.

I had never understood that it was that bad……

I know how how you feel…….

Horses and troughs spring to mind?

All four signings will be big hitters for us over the next three years……..some dead wood will go at the end of this season and be replaced by like quality. The curve is up.

We are incrementally improving the quality of the squad and moving the bar higher each season.

We don’t have the money to do it in one go so we chip away at it……….and try to find the quality that wants to play in Scotland…….

“There no great time to be Tim……..its always great”

    Enjoy the 3 pointer today…….
