What does it matter if Samaras stays or goes ?
All of them even the greats and most faithful of players are at the end of the day employees. For some they are supporters too and that is a difference. Tommy Burns, Danny McGrain, Paul McStay, James McGrory Big Billy et-al have always been or become Celtic Players and supporters.
The support is the club. The support is what needs to stay. Yesterday Henrik, Samaras today,another tomorrow. The support is the constant.

How long to you want to give him before you accept he is not going to sign again? and all this stuff about he gets Celtic well if thats true sign the contract.He in my opinion should not even be on the bench give the youngsters there chance as they are likely to be with us next season while I would be happy if Sammi was as well I seriously doubt that he will be. Oh, dear.
I’m far from Sammi’s biggest fan but as far as I know he is a Celtic player, paid by Celtic (us), a working man expected to honour his contract.
As it happens he hasn’t played so much this year and when he has often as a sub. Doesn’t deserve any of the comments directed at him.
Outrageous comments by Guidi. Naturally Sammi will not respond as he is a gentleman and a true professional.
It may be more legitimate to ask Lennie the reasoning behind picking him but Sammi is an entirely innocent party.
As I commented earlier…man honours contract and is berated.

Maybes he hasn’t signed as yet cos PL is offering him a substantial reduction in wages, who knows, but I would wager that is the reason he hasn’t signed yet, or won’t re sign.

Like all Celtic players, I’ll give him until he’s no longer a Celtic player, its really that simple, is he a Celtic player ? YES has he earned the right to wear the Celtic jersey ? YES
And that my friend is enough for me to want Sammi over any pimply wee bhoy.
Sammi is a top class international player that Lenny should find a way of accommodating in the team,not the other way round.
Best middle to front player at Celtic for quite some time.

Googy, as an incoming player Sammy gets Celtic, I’d pay to play for Celtic, were I in Larssons class they could have paid me £5k, or any other random amount, and I would have signed a 10year contract, it’s not fair to compare a professional with a supporters attitudes to contracts, wages. If my employer offered me £x and another said £x+10, cheerie bye employer, hello new employer.

Sammi – on form – is a sight to behold. Off his game, he’s just a sight. A bit like the real Yogi – but not as good a goal-scorer. A few years back he had a purple patch over five or six games and I thought he just might be the Greek Pele but he got injured and that was that. Then there were hi two goals at Ibrox – and we weren’t expected to win that one.

Got to disagree their. So time to bow out.
One last word someone earlier mentioned Henrik and Sammi in the same sentence regarding loyalty.
Henrik could have gone anywhere at the height of his career.
Sammi no one has been beating down the door. Even last January.
I will let others be the judge.
What about FF? Should he have been playing today despite suffering from this common Celtic player affliction of wanting to diss CL football in favour of playing for Wigan or similar?
