Joe, what you say is fair enough, but who is saying that Sami is running down his contract? He might still be here next season.
When was his last contract – three years ago? I remember the hoo-hah then – he’s taking Celtic to the wire, he’s going to sign for Fenerbahce, he’s going to sign for Hull City, yada yada yada.
In the end he re-signed for us, which is what I expect will happen this time round too.
Hope so!
Don’t think my life will be the same again, I’d like to thank my mum and dad, my wife for her support and my kids for the inspiration!

Even accepting that Sammi has been a loyal, great contributor on the park etc., unless in the unlikely event that Celtic come up with an offer that suits him and his agent, he is for the off.
Therefore he has no part in Celtic’s future.
Celtic’s only concern now is qualification for CL not the world cup prospects of Greece or anyone else for that matter.

Good evening all
Thought we had a good victory today, but thought we rode our luck a bit in the first half. The ref, gave 3 crucial offsides, the first one wrong, and the goal should have stood, the other two were, IMO, correct. Ok, his assistant. Why Charlie was yellow carded in the second half was, to me, a mystery. Brilliant to see the GB back although not in their historic position, fabulous show as usual. Incidentally, that young Liam Henderson has a wonderful future. :-)))

Totally agree. Liam has all the ingredients to be a star. I know his youth coaches have raved about him for a few years.
