you ain’t ever going to get a player to go that extra mile if you only think of them as commodities.
Younger players watching may well take heed. It’s a good thing to feel appreciated. Why hang about where you’re not. Why bother trying to connect with the fans. It’ only a job after all
Just in but happy with a good win. I thought St Mirren played tidy football. I thought, too, the mib was in a class of his own. Thought he and his linesmen were very poor.

Sammi has been nothing but a TRUE CELT.
Took a huge drop in wages from the elite of the EPL to become a Celt.
Took all the abuse & ridicule of our more spoiled support without ever responding in kind when he was struggling.
Did more to entertain us than we could possibly have demanded.
Has NEVER caused Celtic one second of anxiety or hassle.
If he moves on, & who could blame him, I will ALWAYS be grateful to a special Celtic player.
We don’t deserve such guys as our Greek God.
THANKS, SAMMI.

The only summation of Sammi worth any attention. Thanks KK.

Heard Chick Young slavering about McLean running the show today, didn’t notice he was playing. Must be hyping him up because he’s been linked to his team this week.
Yet again when watching St Mirren, I thought young McGinn looked good again, this time playing out of position on the left rather than through the middle.

KK and HT well said, I am a great believer in supporting every Celtic player. I once tore a new one to a bawheid who spent 5 minutes slaughtering Daryl Murphy during the warm up.
I love Samaras and at times he drives me up the wall, but I prefer to remember the great performance in Europe at Ipox and his great pisstake on Barry Brilliant at Ipox.
I also wonder how many other players have scored twice against Barca this season?
I asked exactly that to those around me. Nobody could remember.

Exactly.
One of the few players to have epitomised unwavering love and loyalty to the Celtic jersey since the abdication of the King of Kings.
Suffered despicable torment from the Green huns who have attached themselves to a winning club. Rose above it, played like a Ghod at the highest level for us. Showed true character.
A pity many who abused him cannot learn from their own insufferable ignorance.
Agree that Samaras has been one of Celtic’s better purchases, particularly when playing at a higher level.
Strange one really when Lenny brought him on today thus denying valuable game time for an up and coming prospect.
Suggests to me that Sammi is either staying in the summer, or Lenny will be taking him to the place he might be off to himself…..hmmmmm
I think it’s a really obvious question for any journo to ask in the post match presser.
The journos are obviously close enough to Lenny to elicit quotes on his own future.
Lenny will be aware that the average lifespan of an EPL manager is less than 18 months. He should be careful what he says to media if he wants to pitch his tent at Paradise for much longer.

A good second half after getting soaked in the first.
The linesmen were intent on holding us back.

Well said mate. I actually did something that I never do today, I left early and it was just when the big fella came on.
I left because I feared I’d end up rolling about with the guy who sits behind me who once bood Sammi ONTO the park as a substitute.
As far as I’m aware he hasn’t definitely said he’s leaving yet.
