    Well done to Celtic for yet another clean sheet, their 17th in their last 19 matches. Only Aberdeen have breached the Celtic defence since the 9th of November.

     

     

    And big Virgil has now played 1,407 minutes since he last saw an opponent score a league goal against Celtic whilst he was actively involved in a game… that’s more than 15½ games! It’ll be a bit of a shock to him when he eventually witnesses such an event again.

    Given that a blind man could see that he was’t signing for what was on offer why was he not punted in January and leave room on the bench for a younger player.

    Long winded way of saying it’s my belief that season tickets are going to be even harder to shift next season. Speaking to another season ticket holder today he told me that he hadn’t been to a home game since AC Milan in the Champions league and his absence has nothing to do with financial austerity,weather, other commitments or the absence of the attention seekers

     

    Should it go down to the league being won at Celtic Park next week do you really imagine in your wildest dreams that the stadium will be filled to capacity

     

    I will leave the blog to the Timaratti for the rest of the evening

     

     

    Ps did the rumoured attempt of another comeback for the sideshow take place today

    I assume he’s been given an ultimatum, sign or play and train with the development side.

    That was one one of worst group of officials ever at Celtic Park.

     

    Even on a day when the strikers are impersonating Kenny Misser and still score 3,the MIBs had a field day. I think its about time to cut Anto and Leigh some slack in the offsides dept.

     

    What is the point in playing to fine margins when we have donkeys running the line. As for the eejit in the middle, just how many penalty shouts do you need. An elbow to the head whilst standing your ground is a foul everyday of the week.

     

    Charlie got booked on the 77th minute for persistent fouling going by the refs gesticulating.

     

    According to the beeb, Charlie committed only one other foul and that was on the 10th minute.

    3-0 going on 10, i don’t think i have ever seen so much missed chances and 2 linesmen who were hellbent on destroying a game of football.

     

     

    Have a feeling Aberdeen will go down against RC and Celtic will play like the Champions they are against PT on Wednesday.

     

     

    Thought Broonie was MOTM and that Stokes had a very good game some of Tony’s flick ons were top class.

     

     

    No more VVD and CM at the back please did not look good Lenny.

    Have long maintained that Celtic employees’ contact with the media should only be that which the club is legally contracted to provide.

    Good entertaining game today. We’ll done to St Mirren for coming to CP, playing 2 up front and having a go.

     

    Brown & Johansen the stand outs for us, another good performance from Henderson and our goal scorer getting a goal.

     

    Hope Aberedeen win on Tuesday, would be much better to clinch league at CP next Saturday. Will it be moved for TV?

    Whether he stays or goes that statement still remains a fact.

     

    He also has a World Cup in the summer and could probably do with a lot more match time which only our management team can make happen.

    It is after this type of game, a good victory, that we should be highlighting the officials and not after a defeat.

     

     

    The 3 stooges today were appalling, there must have been at least 5 wrong offside calls and we get 2 bookings in a game where there was not a bad foul

    Sammi has been nothing but a TRUE CELT.

     

    Took a huge drop in wages from the elite of the EPL to become a Celt.

     

    Took all the abuse & ridicule of our more spoiled support without ever responding in kind when he was struggling.

     

    Did more to entertain us than we could possibly have demanded.

     

    Has NEVER caused Celtic one second of anxiety or hassle.

     

     

    If he moves on, & who could blame him, I will ALWAYS be grateful to a special Celtic player.

     

     

    We don’t deserve such guys as our Greek God.
