    Yes, there is always a chance in this game and Broad can get a quick 20 if needed , although I don’t think he likes spin? I could be wrong.

    I would include wingers in forward players (Scott Sinclair?). I do think he needs more than Griff and Dembele (who I think needs a goal to spark his progress) with only Cifcti as backup currently, but I don’t think a striker is his top priority.

     

     

    As for defenders, we have Simunovic coming back from his injury (although it may take a few months to get him fully match fit) and we paid over £3m for him.

     

     

    I think he will sign another central defender and wouldn’t be surprised to see Brendan on occasion play 3 at the back (Erik, Simunovic and another CH), with two wingback (isn’t that what KT is already?) playing wide of 3 in the midfield and 2 strikers, basically a 3-5 2. We’ll see.

    I think BR wants to play “1 up front” so though I can see Sinclair being someone he wants, he’ll join the queue of others like Griff who will have to fit in with the 1 up front.

     

     

    We need another CH as I can’t see Simunovic ever being fit.

    Hope i’m wrong, was worried when we signed him based on number of games he’d played. As you say fingers crossed and it solved the CH problem, I liked the look of him.

    I haven’t seen him play, I rarely watch EPL, but I would imagine that if he is to be left of a three at some point, he needs to be quick, brave and a goal three to serve the real purpose of that position:))

    Some go even further,”Even if he does get fit again,he is not a good defender”.There you are,damned if he does,damned if he does”nt.

     

    Many screaming out to buy Duffy.They would not know Duffy if he came up to them in the street and gubbed them.Then again,he is Irish,so thats what counts.Most never heard of him before the Euros.

    Thanks for the techie help with the adverts, got rid of them and they don’t come back after refresh, i’m an old yin but i managed it nae bother. Glad to be advert free again.

    Just reading a BBC Report on Newsnow Celtic and read that the “Red Imps will not be phased ” knocked it off and went back to it about 30 seconds later to read “Red Imps will not be fazed”. I reckon the guy who wrote first article will get a kick in the ass.

    1. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t know how old are you? I mean-do you have children who use internet and go to similar to CQN websites?

     

    I”m personally adult and don’t care about these adverts but I guess there are many adults who do not want to see “11 sexiest and most naked celebs?”,”Who are 30 under 30 hottest porn stars?” There are many adults who do not wish their children to have these adverts together with CQN.

     

     

    2.I moan about these adverts not becouse I’m saint but becouse they case a harm to CQN. Probably Winning Captains can correct me if I’m wrong, but CQN costs something. Money for CQN must come from somwhere. Paul67, or anyone else pays for the server, connection etc.

     

    Now, many people got adblocker and it’s simple that the host won’t get any money back for financing CQN.

     

    There is another thing, do you wish another side to tell that Celtic website, gets money from porn adverts?

    Bailly, Simunovic, Boyata, Izaguirre, Bitton, Johansen, MacKay-Steven and Commons, plus Mulgrew (out of contract I believe).

     

     

    Even without plans to bring in 3 or 4 new signings, that’s 30+ players on the first team payroll. I suspect the goal by end of transfer window is to offload 6 – 8 players as Brendan has stated he doesn’t want to carry too big a squad.

    When I get some free apps / software there are some which offer an advert-free option if I register and donate / subscribe.

     

    Maybe this could be considered ?
