Really enjoyed yesterday,Armstrong,Ajer,O’Connell looked very promising, liked the high pressing to get the ball back. Ciftci looks a different player, was he not trying for RD?

Wits, The Bob Hilliard thing made me laugh out loud. When I was a kid they used to sing Faith of our Fathers before all the big GAA games. One of my first Munster Finals was Cork v Kerry in the old Park, 1956 or 1957. Winners played Kildare.
When the crowd sang “We will be true to thee till death” I heard it as “We will win through to meet Kildare” & sang it thus for a few years.
Any time I head the hymn since brings back that game to me.
On a more serious note any CQN’er in touch with El Diego Bhoy, haven’t seen him post for a while and for some reason, have been thinking about him a lot today.

What has happened to cork GAA, both football and hurling, for such a great county with great tradition it’s very worrying

So Andrew “Beef” Johnston starts his final round with a birdie to mov to within 6 of th leader. Hmmmmmm….
In the meantime we are light years behind the rest of the Country re youth coaching & designated training facilities, There is no light at the end of our tunnell, we will be down for a long time yet.i
Talking GAA , Donegal are leading Tyrone by 0-7 to 0-4 at HT but Tyrone have lost two starters to black card decisions.

With the UEFA deadline for registering players eligible for the 3rd qualifying round being Thursday at 11pm, I would be surprised if we have not signed a forward and at least one defender by then.
As Brendan has said, they are working very hard behind the scenes, and I would rather they signed who they want instead of just signing players to placate the fans. Enough of that going on elsewhere.
Stunning delivery from Shah turns game back in Pakistans favour. What a ball!

I can’t see us buying a forward, defenders we need, a forward would just mean that BR has to drop LG or Dembele.
Totally agree re signings, still think Brendan has targets identified but CL participation might be the only stumbling block…..never known a manager to be in place for so long and only 1 player added to the squad, but again as you posted, better to get the right players in rather than just players
Twenty minutes ago, England looked to be in the box seat. Now they will limp to defeat, such is the pleasure of test cricket. It’s not just about taking the wicket it’s about breaking the partnerships that build the innings..

I’m not that bothered about the content of the ads. I just don’t like ads. I use Firefox with adblocker. Seems to keep them at bay.

Guys, it does not work for some of us. Whatever you do, how smart you are and use adblocer these ads are back after refresh. It looks like they change their attributes after each refresh.

It’s terrible WITS. You know our long standing problem with our Stalinist County Board, they are now spending 80 million on a Stadium no one wants and will never get filled unless Boyancé comes calling.

Thanks Bendigo, I was struggling to do that, not exactly the best at posting links.
