CELTS KID IN DUNDEE SWITCH

CELTIC youngster Calvin Miller looks to be heading for Dundee on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old left-back, who agreed a new two-year contract at the Hoops earlier this week, is expected to go straight into the Dens Park first team for tomorrow’s game against St Johnstone in Perth.

Miller made four first team starts last term as deputy to Kieran Tierney, but was pushed down to number three in the pecking order with the return of Emilio Izaguirre on a one-year deal following his 12-month exile.

Brendan Rodgers is eager for the youngster to get game time and that should be provided on Tayside where Scott Allan spent the first half of the previous campaign.

The Parkhead gaffer, of course, signed Jack Hendry in a £1.2million move from Neil McCann’s outfit in January and he added keeper Scott Bain in the summer after his Dens Park contract expired.
