Check your outbuildings

Lots of speculation over the weekend that we’ll see Craig Gordon in goal for Scotland and Fraser Forster in for England tomorrow night.  I’m claiming the two of them as ‘ours’.  Big Fraser was a great Celtic goalkeeper and professional.  He deserves one last curtain call on the pitch that made him.

I see Dick Advocaat completed his work with Serbia in less than half a season after their home defeat by Denmark on Friday and is now available for employment elsewhere.  The Serbs have carried some hurt after Denmark made-off with Euro 92, when one of Europe’s great teams were denied their stage by civil war.  The Danes were famously on the beach after being eliminated from the qualifying rounds by Yugoslavia before war in the Balkans opened the door for them to compete in, and win the tournament.

The last thing Serbian football fans deserved was to have Advocaat lead them.  The Dutchman left us with so many great memories.

Do you have Craig Whyte holed up in a safe house, as the formerly advertised Motherwell-born billionaire remains at large after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday?  If not, he’s perhaps gone feral and living in an outbuilding.

Check your shed, look behind the bins.  It might be an idea to leave some food out for him.  He may be disguised, there is no guarantee he’ll be wearing his Celtic scarf and Burton’s apparel, so stay alert.

I did read reports on Croatian websites. They are in shock but what is interesting Croatian FA know very well they have big problem with hooligans. They asked Italian FA for cooperation and ticket sale controlled by both parts. Italians sold 6 600 tickets this way and then ignored warnings and sold plus 1 400 tickets to those among who were hooligans with bans from Croatian FA. Croatian hooligans with bans took revange on their FA.

If set up properly it would be exempt. Charitable causes like Wee Oscar, remembering Reamonn Gormley, Bringing martin home etc comes to mind

If you go back through the suggestion it included the herald ad, stuff like that would not be considered charity and as such would probably require all including the charitable donations be subject to tax if combined.

Rangers directors were assured by solicitor Gary Withey, then (but no longer) of Collyer Bristow, that his client Craig Whyte had the funds not just to repay LLoyds £18m but also to provide a working capital facility of £5m. Collyer Bristow had been provided with “written confirmation from a UK financial institution”.

It is now suggested that the institution may have been none other than Merchant House

Group (MHG), where Whyte was a major shareholder with influence on the board. Furthermore, Whyte was said by MHG to have had more than £30m available to spend.

If this is true, then clearly MHG as well as Withey were misled. LLoyds was repaid from the sale of Rangers’ future ticket revenue.

After Whyte had been disqualified as a director in 2000 he came to the attention of the Companies Investigation Branch (CIB), when he started making moves on financially

roubled shoe firm FII Group, where his old pal Aidan Earley was a player.

By September 2002 Monaco company Lebron Holdings Services had acquired a more than 5% stake. Lebron and Whyte were previously linked at failed Re-Tex Plastic Technology.

The CIB was contacted by the FII pension fund trustees, who were concerned about

Whyte and Earley’s intentions. The CIB monitored Whyte’s telephone calls from Monaco,

with the help of the security services. Any deal fell through, so the CIB took no further

    action.

FII collapsed in 2004, largely due to its pension fund deficit.

Italian authorities are fabulously inept.Attempts to force those who attend a football match to be registered with the police and issued with a related identity card floundered when people simply refused to do it.Big cheese policeman in Milan has stated that the riot police didnt go on duty until early Sunday pm in consequence of a belief that riot police wouldnt be required on a Sunday morning.Maybe he thought the DZ Ultras would go to mass before indulging in a wee bit of mobbing and rioting.

This Year was a big year for me. I had my stomach surgically removed and took the opportunity to re-ass cess my life. I read wurx by the great thinkers (Plato, Aristotle Onassis,Hegel, Marx,Lenin, Malcolm X, Bono, Peter Robinson, Hitler) and fundamentally revised my whole philosophy. So from Now on I’m voting LibDem.

  19. A big problem with the OB act is that it’s based on offence being defined by the police, who in turn are driven by the SNP and who have an agenda to even up the number lifted across what they see as the two main demographic groups, Tims and Clive Dunns. This is evident in them ignoring all of the paedo chants coming from groups such as the sheep, none of that interests the polis as it’s not who they set out to lift. You can chant just about anything at a football match, as long as you aren’t in one of the groups they target.
