Check your outbuildings

671

Lots of speculation over the weekend that we’ll see Craig Gordon in goal for Scotland and Fraser Forster in for England tomorrow night.  I’m claiming the two of them as ‘ours’.  Big Fraser was a great Celtic goalkeeper and professional.  He deserves one last curtain call on the pitch that made him.

I see Dick Advocaat completed his work with Serbia in less than half a season after their home defeat by Denmark on Friday and is now available for employment elsewhere.  The Serbs have carried some hurt after Denmark made-off with Euro 92, when one of Europe’s great teams were denied their stage by civil war.  The Danes were famously on the beach after being eliminated from the qualifying rounds by Yugoslavia before war in the Balkans opened the door for them to compete in, and win the tournament.

The last thing Serbian football fans deserved was to have Advocaat lead them.  The Dutchman left us with so many great memories.

Do you have Craig Whyte holed up in a safe house, as the formerly advertised Motherwell-born billionaire remains at large after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday?  If not, he’s perhaps gone feral and living in an outbuilding.

Check your shed, look behind the bins.  It might be an idea to leave some food out for him.  He may be disguised, there is no guarantee he’ll be wearing his Celtic scarf and Burton’s apparel, so stay alert.

I never, ever watch I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here but I saw a bit of it last night because one of the contestants is Jimmy Bullard, the rocket who strung Lenny along before signing for some nobodies down south. Brave he ain’t but it’s very funny watching his efforts. Ant and Dec are bent double laughing at his screams. I reckon we dodged a bullet.

Don’t forget that FTT/UTT hearings involve the Murray Group, even if they were primarily about Rangers FC. That process is not yet complete. The more recent involvement of the Police, arrests etc appear to me at least, related to how various parties raised the funds to clear the debt Lloyds Bank inherited from the Bank of Scotland specific to Rangers FC. It does not of course include the indebtedness of Rangers FC to MIH written off by Murray in MIH accounts back in 2012. The cover up you refer to, and I know you know this, is an SFA one.

Stairheedrammy. I thought that House was the guy who ultimately got it pushed through and also got a fair wedge into his kitty to implement it.

Of course we did …he only played a handful of games ..perma injured ..then retired

  6. PF and Hamiltontim, the charges brought against us for offensive singing in both a domestic and European game signalled a warning from the politicians that they were targeting us. This wasn’t a polis decision, it came from higher up the food chain and has been followed up by the OB act.

  7. Mighty, I’m sure it was his predecessor who was involved, saw it as a way to sook in with the politicians to ensure a supported retirement. He is currently living off his pension in Canada

  8. Greenpinta…i would hope the O B act would be repealled …if not

..i very much doubt that it will influence my vote…i will vote SNP…reason is ..Independence is my goal…and in an Independent Scotland i hope to see the rise of a proper socialist Labour party…i will never see this under the status quo….

Thanks mate. I though that was the case, but was confused by the spelling.

I remember the pitch you mention, was next to a wee swing park. In fact can recall when the are was getting demolished. I used to walk through the park and demolished area, and remember playing at the burn on my way to Celtic park from Duke St.

Don’t agree mate, though in no way am I excusing the SNP for their dirty dealings in this.

I believe the instigator is House and he’s had a puppet monkey in Salmond who saw it as a crowd pleaser on the back of the shame game and the subsequent ridiculous summit.

House and Police Scotland won’t acquiesce on this so our target needs to be the politicians.

  19. You can now contribute towards the cost of the Celtic Supporters Statement ad which is going into Sunday Herald on Sunday 25th January.

The target is to reach £1500 – any surplus with be donated to Malawi schools appeal, which CQN has supported extensively in 2014.

We are raising the funds via a raffle and we already have a very special bottle of whisky, worth over £150, plus 3 x Cashmere Celtic scarfs and other prizes to give away.

Tickets are priced at £5 and you have an option to buy one, two four or even ten tickets for the one or two rich CQNers!

We will ask CRC to audit the raffle sales and sums collected, so as to ensure transparency.

Many of you stated that you would be prepared to get behind this once in a lifetime opportunity to tell it like it is. You can support this initiative by going to http://www.cqnbookstore.com – and scrolling down to you see the four raffle options.

    Celtic Mac,

Liquidation as far as I know will happen after investigations have recovered as much for the creditors as possible, and uncovered all the reasons for the state of the company leading to liquidation so from that perspective there is a long long way to go.

If liquidation is indeed as soon as you suspect then the investigations have finished and all else is buried.

Should BDO not be compelled to call in the loans (EBT’s) which the Administators should have done if in fact they were working on the creditors behalf. Easy way to get some dosh for the creditors as no one can deny the loans are out there..??

Yes, that’s why the police surround them with cameras waiting for them to step out of line.

The lads will not know there rights and will be easily bullied into accepting some trumped up charge.

They will not understand that this will be used against them for the rest of their lives.

They will not have the courage to insist on their day in court with a jury deciding there case rather than some tarrier pig.

Mean while on the other side of town a taig that battered a Dutch police man was given a tour of the piggery and paraded like a hero at half time.

That, as I understand it, is a job for the Trust, namely the trustees. Like it or not they are legal entities in their own right. Still widely used in the construction industry for example. The question for the FTT/UTT hearings was whether EBT was a proper, ie legal, vehicle for Murray to implement Ibrox way. Used it at MIH as well. That is for the HMRC to pursue, not the liquidator for Rangers FC. Still ongoing though.
