Check your outbuildings

Lots of speculation over the weekend that we’ll see Craig Gordon in goal for Scotland and Fraser Forster in for England tomorrow night.  I’m claiming the two of them as ‘ours’.  Big Fraser was a great Celtic goalkeeper and professional.  He deserves one last curtain call on the pitch that made him.

I see Dick Advocaat completed his work with Serbia in less than half a season after their home defeat by Denmark on Friday and is now available for employment elsewhere.  The Serbs have carried some hurt after Denmark made-off with Euro 92, when one of Europe’s great teams were denied their stage by civil war.  The Danes were famously on the beach after being eliminated from the qualifying rounds by Yugoslavia before war in the Balkans opened the door for them to compete in, and win the tournament.

The last thing Serbian football fans deserved was to have Advocaat lead them.  The Dutchman left us with so many great memories.

Do you have Craig Whyte holed up in a safe house, as the formerly advertised Motherwell-born billionaire remains at large after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday?  If not, he’s perhaps gone feral and living in an outbuilding.

Check your shed, look behind the bins.  It might be an idea to leave some food out for him.  He may be disguised, there is no guarantee he’ll be wearing his Celtic scarf and Burton’s apparel, so stay alert.

BGX, the first seed of the lie was planted by Bill Miller. I think he was the guy before the guy before Bill Ng, and before tea and biscuit purveyor chuckles. Miller came up with the “incubator” pish. That set the wheels in motion that death was indeed not final and zombification began. Chuckles adopted this “pish” and the lie was cast in the zombified flesh of der hun.

Doncaster and the nerd at the SFA were only too happy to go along with the lie and here we are nearly three years down the line with the cover up still being perpetuated by all and sundry.

At least, that’s kind of the way I remember it, but it’s all getting a bit hazy now.

    From crackfox on hunmedia:

“If, as is likely, the Whyte purchase is proven fraudulent then deal is void. SDM becomes a victim of a crime and is entitled to `his property` back plus possible costs etc”

I suspect crackfox is actually a crackheid.

Not long in from work, and purchased a couple of raffles. Got a message saying the transaction was paid but not recorded, whatever that means,

While I’m on, I purchased Davie’s book last week, but have still to receive acknowledgement of the purchase, but saw that the money has been “disturbed from it’s rest” in my account.

If you can put my mind at rest re. these issues, I’d be most obliged.

    Thanks

Roman Abramovich’s yacht arrived in Bermuda last Saturday, on a trip from Gibraltar. Is it possible that Craigy Bhoy is hanging out with his fellow billionaire, who is not from Motherwell, mostly in International waters, to avoid detection and subsequent arrest?

We will be watching carefully tomorrow at the game, in case he comes in to The Docksider, wearing a Celtic scarf and a Hector mask.

A few years ago, I spent a bit of time on the west coast of Barbados … spectacular country! Right across the road was Sandy Lane … owned by our own dermot desmond … and just up the road was what I thought was the largest hotel/apartment complex in the country … walked past it, and if you looked closely, you could see some heavily armed security …turned out it was 6 condos…starting around $40 million, if I recall correctly … one of which was owned by Mr. Abramovich….

not quite a billion dollar yacht, but still pretty spectacular …. didn’t see CW when I was there (or DD or RA, for that matter), but I made sure the locals saw lots of the hoops!

At that time CB was living in Monaco and his Halloween outfit would have been a Blackjack table, hence all the recorded “conversations”

Silll some hoops to be seen around Bermuda but not as many as 10/20 years ago.

Only fan revolt can achieve this

    __________________________

Sadly – Not one person answered you on this most valid, pertinent post that accurately points out the most or rather, the least entertained view re: all the wall to wall hun/sevco chat on this blog. But, ye know what…fan revolt brought down the ole Celtic board of the Kelly’s and the White’s. Since then, all seater stadiums have been law-enforced, particularly since the sad loss of 96 Liverpool fans lives at Hillsborough – and rightly so. Since the all-seater stadiums novelty wore off, fans have started to stand again despite having paid to sit. Now, from a personal point of view….I think that the fans of today are more like pampered-pooches compared to the fans who stood in the Jungle – a different type of fan altogether which would make a fan revolt more difficult to motion as was seen outside the front door of CP when we were beaten by Maribor. If Celtic carry out their plans to introduce a standing area and therefore, the support/fans have a more centralised area from which to take a lead then CP would become a fortress. On the other hand, if there is a standing area and it comes out that the Celtic board have been complicit in the Rangers/Sevco business then – a revolt would come about much more quickly and – THAT – is the reason that I think the plans for a standig area have been put through the shredder – so to speak. The boards reluctance to build a standing area if, it’s for the reasons above, might not save them as, again…I’m only guessing…that the huns will ‘surprise’ us all and catch out a sleeping Celtic PLC board and then the ‘mother’ of fan revolts will be underway right before yer eyes.

All of the above is – imho.

    Hail Hail

I would like to buy some tickets in support of your ad, but at the moment it is somewhat hard for me to purchase them through the channel you have set up. Would it be possible for you to get my e-mail address from CQN records and contact me with regards alternative means of payment for both the raffle book and the DVD’s.

I did send two e-mails to the address you posted last week, to facilitate the above, but to date neither has been replied to. Just want to pay my dues mate albeit the old way.

Because I watching most of Celtic’s games on television gives me a very narrow perspective of how players are performing, I don’t see the work done by some off the ball, I don’t see the perceptive runs made by players that go unrewarded, in short there is lots of action happening off the ball that I’d miss.

What are the chances of whoever writes the match review adding a player scorecard marking each player’s performance on a 1-10 scale and adding a few remarks for qualification?

It would certainly help those like me who rarely get to see the games live a better insight to the wider picture.
