Lots of speculation over the weekend that we’ll see Craig Gordon in goal for Scotland and Fraser Forster in for England tomorrow night. I’m claiming the two of them as ‘ours’. Big Fraser was a great Celtic goalkeeper and professional. He deserves one last curtain call on the pitch that made him.
I see Dick Advocaat completed his work with Serbia in less than half a season after their home defeat by Denmark on Friday and is now available for employment elsewhere. The Serbs have carried some hurt after Denmark made-off with Euro 92, when one of Europe’s great teams were denied their stage by civil war. The Danes were famously on the beach after being eliminated from the qualifying rounds by Yugoslavia before war in the Balkans opened the door for them to compete in, and win the tournament.
The last thing Serbian football fans deserved was to have Advocaat lead them. The Dutchman left us with so many great memories.
Do you have Craig Whyte holed up in a safe house, as the formerly advertised Motherwell-born billionaire remains at large after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday? If not, he’s perhaps gone feral and living in an outbuilding.
Check your shed, look behind the bins. It might be an idea to leave some food out for him. He may be disguised, there is no guarantee he’ll be wearing his Celtic scarf and Burton’s apparel, so stay alert.

Mulholland ….wee Ecks lackey
No doubt some more disingenuous comment , misrepresentation of the OBB sprinkled with some downright lies
stairheedrammy-i hope the broken seats are repaired before Saturday, the huns will tell their fellow neds, you can smash CP up without being lifted.
sunny calmachie
If you don’t mind me asking where does the calmachie part of your blog name come
from ?
PFayr,
Do you remember how many prosecutions against Celtic supporters have been successful ?
I have no idea but I suspect it has been very few so making that point to him tomorrow and reminding him about the balancing motives would be a nice touch.
Kayal injured again in Development squad game,he might have been in for Broonie on Saturday.
I liked the coffin.
But the Four Horsement” banner and the “your children will be responsible taxpayers” legend were awesome.
Canamalar
Not sure of the exact number ….the percentage is small
Of those convicted all would have been convicted under pre existing legislation and BoP
As for tomorrow ..at the given time I’ll be fighting the good fight
Would be nice for him to be challenged …
Neil canamalar
I could be wrong but some Tims plead guilty to avoid the appearance.
Young Bhoys beaten 2 nil.
pfayr..,
Anyone obviously setting out to challenge him will probably not get airtime, this will be a PR spot
BCW,
I know this, that is why I deliberately asked about prosecutions
As he walked along the Copeland Road with an independent air,
You could hear the Bears declare,
He must be a BILLIONAIRE.
You could hear them sigh & wish to die,
As the Peepul’s saviour passed them by,..
He’s the man that put the QUID in liQUIDation.
Come oot, .. Come oot, wherever ye are.

Bada, if the English chavs have seen the CP toilets video they will expect the polis to join in wrecking the joint.
Neil Canamalar, of the first 8 cases arising from the Gallowgate Kettling there were two convictions. Talking to the lawyer involved in those cases at that time there had been no convictions under the OB act for anyone who plead not guilty, he felt the figures were getting close on justifying a harassment case against the polis. The SNP were gleefully citing a balance in the number of convictions between Celtic/ Hibs fans and the Clive Dunns. They didn’t really factor in that the Celtic/ Hibs demographic that they were alluding to is comprised of a far smaller percentage of the overall population, this means a far higher percentage of tims are being lifted. Just what Christine Graeme wanted.
Jeeso, that Les Dennis has fair dropped his standards. Going out with Gail now, after sharing a bed with Amanda Holden….;))
Milan police have stated that the people who behaved violently before , during and after the Italy v Croatia were Dinamo Zagreb Ultras.
Sick of Ogilvies mob looking the other way
Sick of law lords looking the other way
Sick of boardrooms up and down the land, letting them look the other way
5/way agreement. R.I.P
Only fan revolt can achieve this

Forgive me, not up to speed but what is the significance of the £24 million?
Keep the Faith!
Hail Hail!

Quite
I was enraged the last time he was on the tele….blatantly telling lies and misrepresenting the effectiveness of OB act
Lennybhoy, looks like Craigy boy, hero to Tims everywhere, has agreed to pay that amount to the RFC liquidators
Stairheed…,
I doubt there will be official stats available for what we would be looking for as they would make a mockery of the whole thing but I expect a wee search for court cases involving Celtic supporters and the OBB would throw up some good stuff
Zico maltese bhoy
Thanks for replying.
never stayed at Portomaso before, although I eat and drink there a lot, when in Malta. Normally stay with friends but thought we might try it out next time over.
unfortunately I do not speak Russian, I assume they are mainly Russian owned ?
Do not put yourself out Re Hilton prices, I will just need to cut my wife’s pocket money before we go.
Cheers
Jobo,
How’s the tache getting on?
Don’t want to put you on a downer, but after looking at both photos with my daughter she commented, it fair aged you…on the bright side you can shave it off come December.
I’ll donate before the end of November.
If you can grow a santa beard, I’ll donate again:)) HH
Screensaver on my phone….best banner ever…”your grandchildren will be Celtic fans”
Neil Canamalar, Paul Kavanagh would be worth contacting, he has represented most of those charged and has a very good record of ripping the prosecution a new one within such cases. There is no way the SNP/polis/ PF alliance will give accurate figures as the act is failing around them. The GB should also be looking at this from a harassment perspective. Many of them have been lifted in the most obstructive way the polis could engineer, to be later found not guilty of the dreadful crimes of singing that they were charged with. Meanwhile thousands of bigots take part in state sponsored intimidation marches most weeks in Scotland.
Re-post from late last night …as nobody commented.
I’ve been really saddened at the tone of the blog over the weekend due to the antagonism from both sides over the Celtic Derby. It was nice therefore to see such a positive blog from Paul re the paving stone for wee Oscar. And it got me thinking.
Perhaps it is time that we set up a CQN fund to build on the great work that has been done over the last few years. It seems to me that the same motley crew constantly put their hands in their pockets for every cause that is taken up.
We’ve already got the Kano Foundation. What about a Wee Oscar Fighting Fund (because the wee man WAS a fighter). If everyone who posts or lurks on here was willing to set up a Direct Debit of say £1 or £2 per month (no more – to make it all inclusive) we could have a considerable fund readily available to cover events like Oscars paving stone and the Herald Ad ETC.
We appear to already have a unofficlal “CQN committee” of willing and trustworthy guys in place and it wouldn’t take too much organisation to formalise that a wee bit.
While I’ve got the mike….I propose treble winning captain Tom Boyd as President.
OK, Paul, BRTH etc I’ve done all the spadework. Just get on with it :-)
What do you all think?
WARNING; If nobody replies tonight I’ll just post it again tomorrow. :-)
BCW,
“Scotland’s shame” —-> after thems disgrace in Manchester was a belter.

Fraser Nelson …exercise in stating the bleeding obvious …and all in his stupid strained accent …
Did anyone else hear the interview on this mornings BBC radio about the coming TV programme about the Birmingham Bombings, or to be more accurate the investigation into them. Alleging the polis lost between 2 and 3 unexplored bombs. Scary stuff.
Billy bhoy,
It will become subject to income tax and that would require someone to administer it which would be unfair not to pay whomever so, naw
Unexplored and unexploded
Still the clowns at Hampden are hiding under desks re the huns,so much for their promise to keep a closer eye on club’s governance. Not fit for purpose.

Gallowgate pubs have been instructed to close tomorrow on the advice of the police.
Some will, some won’t.
canamalar/biilybhoy
It would not be subject to income tax as it is donations and not income, but agree that it would require to be administered, but then again so does everything else that we do.
