Christie transfer breaking all Celtic moulds

538

Celtic’s £500k signing on Inverness attacking midfield player, Ryan Christie (20) is unlike any I have known. The player will remain on loan at Inverness for the rest of the season, a nod to the fact that the Highlanders have been good for his development and first team opportunities would be more limited at Celtic.

He’s a talented player who fits the criteria and we have the money available to bring him in. There’s something of a crop around the same age being acquired. More on this at a later date.

Welcome to Celtic, Ryan.

I totally disagree and do no wish to hear any more of your opinion ;)

    Hail hail.

I firmly believe we will come out of this transfer window just as Celtic-y as we entered it.

The labelling of posters is pointless as are the ad hominem attacks

However….debate often occurs between polar opposites …

Not a project – the real deal

  4. have to say I am not disappointed to look Virgil… being pragmatic, even if we had made the CL we would have to have cashed in on him… probably good business. Its the lack of proficient back up that hacks me off. That and the CF piece. This is all too familiar for the last day, hanging, in hope, reality is if its left down to the last 2 hours there will be a large degree of chance to any success. Also hacked off the big CB deal is being dragged out… will be very hacked off if it falls through. Lastly while Giff is doing well, this could well be a purple patch, he has hardly been consistent… and yet again we rely on the same ol lot. Cifti has a long way to go, looks raw at best… ach well… what will be will be… this is our lot being part of the Scotish set up. I suppose its an apathy that i am left with…

Man Utd only have three strikers ..Wilson being one of them …no chance they’ll loan him out …incidentally , he has better stats than the new mega bucks wonder kid

Apparently there were many suitors for Wilson and Man Utd told them all to beat it and then some.

  9. Is it actually possible for us to keep selling our best players for good money and not replace them?

I was serious about us being Pot 3!! I was going by the betting odds to win the Group: Evens, Fenerbahce; 8/5 Ajax and 4/1 us.

Crikey. In comparison to the previous version of CQN it’s and effort and time consuming to catch up. In my humble opinion the CQN charity factor and fund raising makes this site simply the best!! BOOM BOOM. I have to say though given the number of new daily CQN headlines one would imagine that the skipper once ran a music magazine that’s missing FOREST. Or as P67 commented lately beware ‘click bait’ HH.

I noticed a post on facebook the other night where a lot of well kent CQN’ers who no longer post expressed disatisfaction with the level and standard of comment on CQN.

I saw the comments but did not participate as I had nothing to say really as I had not been on the site to post or read for many many weeks.

One of the participants said maybe we should go back on ourselves and have some input.

I have no idea what folk think of the site or the level of posting or the standard of debate and so on but the bottom line is that the site is no more than a place to express a point of view which others can read or not disagree with or not and reply to ….. or not.

Maybe there are too many disagreements? Maybe there aren’t enough? Maybe Paul’s leaders are too loyal to the current board? Maybe sometimes they are not loyal enough?

    Take your pick I suppose.

Hopefully, like other Celtic sites it is somewhere Celtic fans can share views, opinions and information as and when they want to.

No more and no less really.

Just a stab in the dark here but is it because we also have an expenditure column?

  17. Every transfer window ending it’s the same.

Expectancy from poster after poster all day.

Somebody earlier said that our financial advantage over Sevco should have by now seen us on a different planet. That completely misses the point.

Our custodians don’t want us on a different planet.

Operation Short Head is back in operation big time.

I read on CQN today….that Celtic have received 63 Million from English teams since 2010.

So what expenditure are you speaking about?
