    If Sevco beat Young Boys ( Top of the Swiss League , I believe) then we have to take them seriously as challengers. They were obviously better than us on Sunday and we can`t blame the poor showing by the opposition EVERY time. Perhaps Sevco`s performances make it difficult for other teams to play well. No?

     

    If we do win the league, it will be because we have greater stregth in depth….though some might dispute that after tonight`s game in Romania !

    Certainly anything that might influence people, like an opinion poll result is banned on Election Day, I reckon TV Networks are playing it safe by banning all discussion until 10pm.r

    I never mentioned the way the Huns were playing,only that the Berne defenceman was atrocious.. As they were in the 1st game.More misplaced passes than I can remember seeing.

    my major negative about the performance on sunday was that our midfield just played like wee boys who didnt want to be out in the rain.

     

     

    i remember that well when i was 9 years old. hated it 😱

     

     

    but i also think we need to shake the midfield up a bit

     

     

    its always brown christie forrest and mcgregor in big games

     

     

    with rogic and ntcham in the squad there is scope to mix it up

     

     

    and i think i would have one of them in the starting 11 for 29th

    Harking back to the match, can you imagine if we sent our first team out and won but picked up a few knocks and a couple of yellows.

     

    The cry would be that money grabbing Pedro put our League position and our last 16 progression into jeopardy coz he wanted to get his hands on another 570k.

     

    I was satisfied with first team performance, once Julien went off the defence lost it’s shape we conceded 2 and could have conceded 5 in that second half.

     

    I think Lenny will have learned a lot from tonight.

     

    Griff, Robertson & Karamoko will have benefited from tonight.

    Re Karamoko, Yep he did get a few touches but what’s important is he played in an away European tie,and that will mean a lot to the kid.
