CONFIRMED: ANGE STARTS WITH 9-GOAL CELTS

1

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has given a vote of confidence to the team that romped to a 9-0 triumph over Dundee United six days ago by putting out the same starting 11 for this afternoon’s derby at Parkhead.

That means the Celtic boss has made nine changes for the second successive game following the 4-1 Premier Sports League Cup win over Ross County in Dingwall in midweek.

GOL-DEN BHOYS…hat-trick heroes Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada after the 9-0 Tannadice trouncing.

Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada, who each claimed a hat-trick in the Tayside romp, will take their usual positions against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox visitors.

There was speculation that hard-running Daizen Maeda, who scored the third goal against the Highlanders, would get the nod ahead of the Israeli winger, but Postecoglou is obviously satisfied to start with the team that devastated last week’s opponents.

TEAM: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; O’Riley, McGregor, Hatate; Abada, Kyogo, Jota. Subs: Siegrist, Jenz, Giakoumakis, Haksabanovic, Mooy, Turnbull, Maeda, Forrest and Ralston.
