CONFIRMED: CELTIC SEMI-FINAL DATE

1

CELTIC will face Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox side in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden on Sunday, April 17 with a 2pm kick-off.

As anticipated, the Glasgow derby got the Sunday slot with the all-Edinburgh last-four clash between Hibs and Hearts going ahead on previous day with a 12.15pm start.

The Hoops made sure of their place at the national stadium – Ange Postecoglou’s third visit to the national stadium since his June arrival at Parkhead – with a 3-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice on Monday evening.

Coincidentally, their opponents also won 3-0 in Dundee on the Saturday against Mark McGhee’s relegation-threateened team at Dens Park.

The match will be shown exclusively live on Premier Sports.

The action from Hearts, who overcame St Mirren 4-2 at Tynecastle, and Hibs, who beat 10-man Motherwell 2-1 at Fir Park, will be televised live on both BBC One Scotland and Premier Sports.
