I have had a few sherbets so forgive me for going OTT on this but why is the AT not been reconvened more that 40 days from the appeal decision .

Also I found it strange how OTT fat sally went when the embargo was declared

It did not make sense to me that they went so OOT when they could not sign anyone anyway in admin

If Ki is to go to QPR for £7M then that would be a good bit of business for Celtic in my book.

When I try and compose my strongets Hoops team with everyone fit, I really cannot see him getting in ahead of Beram, Victor, Joe, and Broony. Even if we are playing 5 he is not always a better option than James Forrest or Kris Commons.

And there are also Paddy and Charlie in the mix dependent upon opposition.

I will remember many of his contributions though, and wish him all the best down south. The style of play down there may suit him more than some of the agricultural stuff so favoured by many of the “diddy teams” up here.

    Good luck son!!

Well said Peterhead. Justice is coming…

” Peterhead expressed surprise that a 16-team top-flight, which had been rejected as “unattractive and potentially undeliverable” in the SPL’s own strategic plan in April 2011, was now being proposed “a mere 36 hours prior to Friday’s meeting”.”Whilst we have always stated that we would welcome proposals for league reconstruction independent of the Rangers crisis, we are left with a sense of wonderment at many of the newly proposed changes to the league – changes that were deemed wholly unworkable prior to newco Rangers application to join the SFL after expulsion from the SPL,” they said in a website statement.”Although we are to come under severe pressure from bodies outwith the SFL to accept these fast-tracked changes to accommodate a newco team and to hail this proposal as a ‘blueprint to safeguard the future of Scottish football’, we must retain our stance and those of the majority of our fans to vote no.”We still believe that to maintain fairness in our game and to restore faith in Scottish football, there is no alternative but to admit a newco team into Division Three.”We understand the ramifications of this as laid out by the SFA and understand that there will be financial implications for all clubs should this be the outcome.”However, although there may be tough times ahead for Scottish football, we believe we can weather the storm.”

Not only have these clowns neglected to even attempt to follow their own rules and regulations vis a vis the DeadHuns, they are now trying to badger and bully the various Chairmen of all the Clubs in Scotland.

And all this in the face of almost unanimous opposition from grass roots fans right across the footballing spectrum.

Even including the denial-zombies from Govan.

Roll on tomorrow, when another batch of nails will be fired into both the coffin of the Taxdodgers as well as Messrs Doncaster and Regan.

You really could not make this up.

  11. When I saw Len Brennan list on one of the previous pages I recalled that recommended Toto Tamuz frop Hapoel. I see his agent is recently in talks with Sporting Lisbon. Both, permanent and loan deals are possible. Swiss Lucerne is also interested in the player.

He surely is in Celtic Glasgow range. Very strong, fast striker with not bad stats.

  12. !!Bada Bing!! on

Bhoys a wee reminder, tickets for your own seat for Inter game only available til tonight i think.

  13. prestonpans bhoys on

After listening to Raith and Clyde I would suggest that if you can’t get a ticket for our away game then go to their ground and give them your cash.

  14. They’re going to accept the transfer ban? I’m afraid the transfer ban is no longer on the table.

The court of sessions found the transfer ban ultra vires and instructed the tribunal to reconvene to deliver an alternative punishment. Oldco/Sevco delivered that CoS verdict to the SFA, making the SFA bound to act on it.

  15. Tontine Tim

So the old Rutherglen angle did not cut it with UEFA, just as well, had it did you would have teams like Rangers claiming they were from places like Bearsden. Things haven’t worked out too well for Clyde at Broadwood, though it is a good ground, maybe moving back to Glasgow might work for them.

    Correcto!

  17. I remember Joe McBride, (i was very, very young) came home from school and my older brother shouted to me “We’ve signed Joe McBride” – “We’ve signed Joe McBride” Who he? – said me, said he “this guy will score a barra load for the Tic”

Soon found out for myself when I saw this guy who couldn’t stop scoring for the Hoops. A player remembered so well, because he was the first striker we ever saw in modern Celtic, who was made for the predator football cliche, long before it was even coined.

Not the tallest of men, but he would have leapt tall buildings for Celtic had he been asked, he simply jumped higher than everybody else, by at least a foot.

Not only could he jump higher, he was already thinking about jumping long before the ball was crossed, and because he went up before anybody else, he hovered and hung in the air, waiting to put his head on the ball, invariably into the onion bag.

Blistering right foot shot which he’d unleash at the sniff of a chance, a rare unique talent from a player that’s only thought was to score, score and score again, as his astonishing record proves.

His trademark after scoring for Celtic was to popularise the run to the crowd, the leap, and a punch to the sky.

That was Joe McBride Hail Hail RIP

  18. Real Radio – Rankers in Crisis special – they’re deed! they are not in crisis. Morons.

  19. I posted on previous blog re Joe..

I played golf with Joe a few years ago in Ireland. (Drogheda)

he got the short straw.. we spoke about football and he told me it was natural he never thought about it and bang bang the ball was in the net…

Joe was a great bhoy and Iwill remember him from those times in Ireland..

  20. prestonpans bhoys on

Miss Prestonpans was talking to a hun (the deceased club) who said we should have respect for their Orange marches. Well, my reply would break all of Paul’s rules……………………………….

someone else Gordon J, I think said amendments need to be in 48 hours prior to any meeting

    Its unbelievable

we forget how stupid the MSM are, with the lack of phone ins recently.

I read on RTC today that the RTC blog had started 18 months ago, The MSM only started to discuss this 6 months ago. Its a shame that rangers fans and MSM were putting so much effort and spending so much time hating neil lennon that they overlooked their own troubles.

  23. sometime in the future our unbroken club will play a club wither the name rangers

our club must treat this club as the new entity it is.

no reference what so ever to old firm games of the past.

we the fans must do the same.

  24. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

    celtforlife…,

had a look for EGM requirements, couldnt find anything on the sfa rules, but a general meeting can be called by 10% of members with agenda submitted with request, this cannot be blocked.

  25. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

real radio reporting that even if the vote tomorrow says divsion 3 the sfl will over rule this a few days later and its divsion 1 for sevco

  26. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

    celtforlife..,

need to remember this is an sfl meeting, to oust sfa, an sfa meeting needs to be called.

  27. I'm Neil Lennon (tamrabam) on

dont the authorities realise that if its not division 3 for the huns the fhans from ALL clubs will turn their back on the game. How will that help the clubs?

  28. Neil canamalar Lennon hunskelper extrordinaire on

    tamrabam…,

I hope this is made clear at the meeting, if so, the first proposal will probably be the only vote needed :o)
