CELTIC will play Kilmarnock in the Premier Sports League Cup semi-final at Hampden in January.

The Hoops booked their place in the last four with a 4-0 romp against Motherwell at Fir Park with a double from Liel Abada and singles from Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi.

Goals from Kyle Lafferty (pen) and Danny Armstrong gave Killie a 2-1 win over Dundee United at Rugby Park last night. Glenn Middleton netted the Tayside outfit’s consolation effort.

The other last four confrontation will be between Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox side and Aberdeen.

Steven Davis scored the only goal of the game against Championship Dundee to get the Govan club through to their meeting with the Dons who eased past second-tier Partick Thistle 4-1 at Pittodrie with goals from Luis Lopes, Kevin Holt (og), Hayden Coulson and Ryan Duncan while Darren Brownlie netted for the Firhill side.

The last four matches are due to take place next year on the weekend commencing January 14.

The Final will be played at Hampden on February 26.
