DEILA’S TREBLE TARGET

RONNY DEILA is 90 minutes away from lifting his first silverware as Celtic manager.

The Norwegian, though, doesn’t only have his eyes on the League Cup Final against Dundee United on March 15 in his sights.

He is demanding a clean sweep of the domestic trophies.

After this afternoon’s semi-final victory, he said: “It was an important win because it means were are still going for the treble.

“In the first-half, we scored two fantastic goals and created other chances.

“We put them under pressure to make sure they couldn’t relax on the ball.

“After the interval, we controlled the game and wanted to play a more passing game.

“I don’t think they had a shot on target, so I believe we deserved to win.

“As I said, we wanted to pass more, but with a pitch of that quality it is very hard to bring a tempo into the game.

“But, yes, it was a great win.”
