I hear Saidy Janko (19) was spotted walking into Ross Hall Hospital this morning. Although known as a right back, Saidy can apparently play right side of central midfield and as a winger. While he’ll be the fourth right back in the first team squad, positional definitions aren’t what they used to be. At Celtic in particular, there’s often little difference between a full back and a winger (the former can hopefully tackle, the latter, less so). At the above point I hadn’t posted with regard to Kojo. Others had and I might be wrong but I didn’t see anyone posting in support of his political views. There were mentions of his style, his prose, his knowledge of our youths etc but not his politics. So if anyone misses reading Kojo’s posts then according to you they are fascists. It was your post above that prompted me to post in support of Kojo. I don’t remember anyone appointing you as the conscience of the blog. You know nothing or very little about my beliefs. I didn’t start the spat. I don’t like anyone stereotyping or categorising me.

I can understand posters like captain beefy and macjay missing Kojo’s apolitical right-wing politics. Why they give him a bye on his racism (Mexican friends??- he expressed nostalgia for a time when there were fewer Mexicans in LA) is for them to answer.
But, on the point of Kojo’s knowledge of Celtic youth, I am totally bewildered that posters think Kojo was well informed there. When he did not get the name of the player wrong (e.g. Calvin Miller, after he had been named by FIFA as the best in his age group), he was championing the likes of Stephen O’Donnell (Partick & Luton player now) and Mark Millar (ex Falkirk, now QOTS). He talked often of the youth players but rarely knew who they were, where they played, or how good they were.
