Manchester City central player, Jason Denayer, will join Galatasaray before tomorrow’s transfer deadline. The central defender was on Celtic’s radar after the injury to Rivaldo Coetzee, and all other things being equal, I believe the player would be happy to head back to Celtic, where he played season 2014-15, but City are set to conclude the deal with the Turkish club.
Celtic will soon have Dedryck Boyata and Erik Sviatchenko back from injury, while Jozo Simunovic was rested for recent games on plastic pitches, but is available for selection alongside 19-year-old Kris Ajer.
With three senior central defenders already at the club, plus one development prospect, I believe City were concerned that Jason would not have seen the development opportunities he enjoyed at Celtic first time around.

I wont criticise the PLC for trying to sign Paddy, to their credit, thats true.
What i want them to do is ‘Back the Manager’ like they said they would. That means being prepared for the CL.
I dont want to see Celtic risk playing Bitton against Neymar, give me a break eh.
If the PLC dont keep their word to Brendan, he wont be here. So its not about trusting the manager. Its about the PLC keeping their word to him.

Sorry to say but you are confusing the issue, your thinking appears to be defensive and focused on nationalism/unionism.
The issue is broader and is simply the common ground that exists between many at Celtic and Sevco;
Unionism, conservatism (small c), Christian but both becoming more secular, Capitalism, white European, dislike of media, dislike of SPFL/SFA (supporters of both))
I think it is a positive that there is so much common ground and having watched a few debates on Sevco Media, I think there is grounds for optimism. The debates are often similar with the same villains the main difference is often the profanity. I have read racist, homophobic and disturbing posts go unchallenged here too (although less frequent and I’ve seen them pulled up too).
1) Would you agree that there is common ground (see above, politics, unionism) between Celtic and Rangers?
2) How would you build on those areas of agreement?
3) What measures would you like to see the Scottish Government introduce to reduce sectarianism?
Perhaps in the Institutions, Media, Education, Sport, Politics?
How would you build an inclusive, forgiving society in Scotland? How should Celtic and Newco assist?
