Dinner with the president

629

I didn’t comment on reports earlier this week that the SFA would allow Rangers International to complete an internal investigation into alleged links between Craig Whyte and Charles Green as I thought this was the appropriate course of action.

The SFA acted correctly: they wrote to Rangers International expressing concern over the matters in hand, and received assurances that their questions would be answered by an independent panel.  Last year the football authorities were slow to enforce compliance with predecessor club, Rangers, but we can hope they apply a little more pressure this time.

News, released last night, suggesting after it was established Craig Whyte had been struck off as a director and would therefore face disciplinary proceedings, he had dinner with SFA chief executive, Stewart Regan, and president, Campbell Ogilvie, is far more concerning.

Mr Regan assured us that Mr Ogilvie, who he admitted was “heavily conflicted” by matters concerning Rangers, would remove himself from matters concerning the club he was previously a director of.  This is meaningless if both parties met to discuss disciplinary matters with Mr Whyte before formal proceedings were underway.

What is increasingly clear is the co-dependency between so many characters in this play, including Regan and Ogilvie.  They exist to keep each other in a job. This co-dependency will be jeopardised by the one man so many are attempting to paint as the only villain of the piece. Craig Whyte has them all taped and will not go down quietly.

It will be a frustration to many that the bottom half of the Scottish Football League clubs have held out for a bigger share of the trickle-down pie.  Odds on a schism opening up between community and full time clubs have to be high.

Many thanks to everyone who has ordered (below) Willie Wallace’ autobiography, Heart of a Lions.  It goes to print this week and will be with us soon thereafter.

    For what it’s worth .-

There are lots of Algerians in South East Sicily . They love their football. They rate El Arbi Hillel Soudani.

When are CFC going to demand the resignations of Ogilvie and Regan? The game here is rigged in favour on 1 club in whatever incarnation, yet it continues to go unchallenged, why?

The more this continues the more complicit CFC appear to be, the SFA should be disbanded, a group from UEFA or an association without any conflict of interest brought in to run the pro game here until credible professional adminstrators are appointed.

It is thought that many high profile businessmen were part of Charlotte 18 named after the square in Edinburgh – Charlotte Square where Mr Murray (David)had his headquarters.

    Very interesting reading.

El Arbi Hillel Soudani is 1.82589437511m tall [approx.]

He first learned about Celtic last year, when his sister went into premature labour with her first son. Luckily Celtic striker Antony Stokes [who was on a golfing break in the Algarve] stepped in to deliver the baby safely[and onside!].

While waiting for the ambulance to come Anto regaled the family with tales of the Glasgow giants, which explains how El Arbi’s nephew comes to have the unusual[ in Arabs] middle name of Paddy-Mccourt.

An email from a Richard Barrington from Korissa Capital in Panama agreeing to subscribe to £2.5m worth of shares in Sevco5088. Charlotte insinuates that Richard Barrington is alson known as Craig Whyte.

If true, it shows that Craig Whyte did indeed own part of Sevco5088, the company who agreed to purchase the business and assets of Rangers before Charles Green swapped things and bought assets under his new company Sevco Scotland.

Just heard Napoli’s owner on the radio .—–

He denied claims that Benitez is the new Manager of Napoli but admitted that Benitez is one of 8 possible candidates for the job..

He admitted that he is talking with Manchester City re the sale of the excellent Cavani . He repeated that he wants 63 million euros for Cavani but added that he is considering a deal of 45 million euros plus Dzeko .

Napoli boards are in meltdown re losing Cavani and getting Dzeko———eg

Just getting round to renewing my 2 season tickets on line and find that the club wants £10 for doing this. WTF is that all about

Guess it’s a trip into ticket office then.

  14. Forget about the shennanigans of who owns which parts of the dead club, let’s remind ourselves that –

The club known as Rangers which won a world record number of titles and clubs are liquidated, no matter what the Scottish media try to deny.

The club now referred to as Rangers are in fact a new club to Scottish football, after all they are officially registered as ‘The Rangers’. As such their history starts from last year and they have one honour – winning the SFL div 3.

Does not matter that they report 45,000 attendences at home.

Let us keep reminding all and sundry of this whenever the subject of Rangers comes up.

  15. Noticed that the Boys’ Brigade is to share £10 mill from the Scottish government as being a group offering support to young people and their families.

Will the SPL chairmen be asking Mr Regan to explain if there is any truth in the allegations that he is in cahoots wae Whyte & Ogilvie?

There is a time to stay silent and a time to speak

If NOW is not the time to speak as a united group so as not to turn it into an us & sevco story I dont know when will be

The clearest of clear co-dependancy is undoubtedly between sevco and the sfa, in plain sight of everybody,

‘dinner with the president’ confirms they cant even be bothered being discreet about it.

But I feel It would be better asking ALL SPL chairmen as a group to ask him.

It is a real address, in the banking district of Panama City. It’s just that if you were using your not-very-suspicious-at-all gmail email address to pony up £2.5 million for shares in something called Sevco, would you not be careful to copy and paste the address correctly?
