There’s always a bit of trepidation before Celtic play a meaningless game, like they will do in Turkey tomorrow, the propensity to pick up injuries feels higher, although this is possibly not borne out by statistics.
Before Sunday the team look like they needed a break but no injuries, please.
It’s been a long time since I’ve heard allegations that some or other council are controlled by, and for the benefit of, an ethnic or religious minority. This is an old-time prejudice, up there along with allegations of criminality or the personal hygiene habits of the minority. But like Corporation buses, they come in groups.
Anyone can report Celtic for whatever they like, and believe me, many do. Which is a great pity, as there are real targets worthy of attention elsewhere….. For years, while others were buying football bling, Celtic were acquiring land, all appropriately, as is their borrowing. More importantly, they have been able to establish all of this without question. Confirmed.
Just because one club was an omni-shambles doesn’t mean any others are. Enjoy the laugh.

Morning to all Celtic supporters Transfer windows are very strange football clubs in the early weeks dont seem to do a lot then in the last few days you can get frantic activity I dont know what that says about forward planning?There are plenty of rumours about who celtic are interested in but with little substance it could be we are waiting to see what happens with Joe Ledley and Sammi before we move but it really is a funny old game.H.H.

ABZMike. Thats an interesting question in my opinion there is a bit of both to it, they have a certain amount to spend and probably want to spend that on a striker.Any other money they wish to spend they to may have to be generated from player sales.However,thats is only my opinion. H.H.

For us fholk who live here freezing the council tax has been very significant, particularly if you are finding it difficult dealing with all the Social Security cuts.Your Labour of Bambi Blair and Lord Jack McConnell helped to bleed us dry. How can you think for a second that what we have is beneficial to Scotland astonishes me. We have no control over monetary policy. No say in defence. No say in Europe or the world. Our fishing grounds are bargained away to let London benefit.
Why only this week Boris Johnson said a pound spent in London is better than a pound spent in Strathclyde.
Trouble is the no vote means no one in Scotland will win. Not even in their petty minded hatred can Labour possibly think we will be better of under London control.
The Yes vote isn’t about Nationalism, it’s about breaking away from the control of London. Getting rid of the stranglehold London has over us.
Let us see a new start. Let us see Self-Determination within an Independent Scotland.
