Dunfermline statement on Rangers

1133

This evening’s announcement by Dunfermline Athletic that they no longer expect to receive timely receipt of the £80,000 ticket money Rangers FC PLC (in administration) owe them will heighten concerns at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who have a stock at tickets with Rangers right now, money for which will be received by the administrators in advance of their game later this month.

The administrators have yet to decide whether to retain high-earning players or make more funds available for existing creditors, and future creditors, like Inverness.  As ticket sales for the Inverness game are on-going, the administrators will need to be aware of their legal position before retaining a premium squad.

One final push (this week) for the Vanessa Riddle Appeal. We have a Celtic top signed by the first team squad available to auction on eBay. You can bid on the auction and help send Vanessa for the treatment she needs by clicking here. Thanks to Penfold for the donation and to Taggsybhoy for organising (yet again).

I suspect that the follow follow whoever it is/was clan will continue with their persistent and mind boggling support strategy e.g. of nazi salute whilst flying the Israeli flag.

I can’t wait to hear them sing f**k the HMRC and God save the Queen !

Will new co just simply fly the saltire?

Will new co ban the union jack?

Too thick even after their Dam Has Just Been Busted!

  3. I’m relatively new to CQN but have waited patiently for 4-5 years for the truth to come out. we’ve had nearly 3 days of pure magic but I would implore all nervous posters on here to consider that old saying ‘patience is a virtue’ as this whole sorry mess unravels.

Only a fool would not have expected the concerted ‘You Need Rangers’ cries from notable Orcs, the LL/MSM et al. The comments from the administrators are from people with a stadium to fill in a few days, bringing in as much liquidity as they possibly can. They are also reporting on the mess ‘as is’; if they win the Big Tax Case or not, it is not of concern TODAY. They are only talking in terms of the reasons why the bigots are in Administration TODAY.

Console yourself with this thought; Until Whyte came onto the scene, Bigot plc was on the market of over 3 YEARS with no takers. Look at the situation now compared with the day Whyte took over ask yourself who in their right mind would buy it now or invest to improve the situation to the point where Bigot plc is in exactly the same state as when Whyte bought it. Any takers? They are hamstrung without major disposal of players or assets.

Ask yourself if you want them to remain in administration to pay what they owe in full (Many years of penalties, no purchases of players, no European income, etc.) or you want them to hit the blender. One or the other will happen – or have you just lost complete faith in Paul67, Phil Mac, etc. and THE TRUTH they have consistently supplied to us all?

We can all guess the final outcome and wish for our own dream scenario to happen. I foresee a volatile ride which may end up shocking even the most informed of us. Let the initial hysteria and panic being portrayed by their ‘fans’ dwindle and the real truths will be exposed in time. I hope the finest of toothcombs is used to expose the criminals for what they truly are.

Hector is yet to come over the hill with ‘The Big One’, but even whyte knows he is on his way. also console yourself with the fact Celtic have said nothing since they went into administration. ‘Strong views’ are known to be held by our club. Now, that could be the funniest part yet.

Interesting post. The realisation by other spl clubs that establishment saving Rangers not good for them either (as well as being morally bankrupt)needs to be heard. Especially those who have lost money to the frauds. What are chances it isnt just celtic and hibs seen to be partying at grounds in Scotland this week ?. Keevins and co would have to tell us we are all liars despite the evidence of his own eyes.(wishful thinking …certainly from Yorkston,s pars)

No UEFA license while you owe the taxman. So no possible feasible business plan while holding the debt. Paul Murray along with the head of the SFA could face possible criminal charges if the big tax case goes against them.

We are witnessing the drip feed of the bad news that Rangers as we know it is dead.

Salmond even looking like he owes Murray.

For what it’s wprth….I had conversation today with an Airdrie (United) supporter and he stated that that it was David Murray that effectively put the former Airdrie Club into Administration and when David Murray was asked why he stated “Business is business”. This Airdrie supporter told me the story with an air of “I can’t wait to see them disappear, Karma and all that”. I was quite shocked! Can anyone confirm his account of Airdrie going into Administration?

Also, i’ve just seen a copy of 2moro’s Daily Ranger with the headline that Dundee United are planning on banning the unwashed. I was wondering the merits of Celtic Fans in the area buying tickets for the rangers end and supporting the Arabs(financially as well as cheering them on for a day) as sign of solidarity and that the SPL do not need the Unclean. Good or Bad Idea?

Yes it was one of Murray’s companies that initiated the procedure.

This was a proposal put forward by Labour’s John McFall tonight, and it’s the best news I’ve heard since this grim episode kicked in.

He basically suggested that the Scottish government should hold the club’s hand and lead it out of administration – and then find a better ownership model in the next few months for Rangers – fan ownership.

As I understand it, this would mean no newco, the legal continuation of the existing club, and a brand new and much improved ownership model.

I support this view. I’m delighted to see a man of

McFall’s calibre – and I’m no Labour man – making such a worthwhile contribution. I hope the Scottish government is listening – I think it might be.

This idea has to be developed.

    Well done, John McFall.

We need to keep pushing for Government intervention, pressure and public scrutiny on the affairs at RFC at this very minute. This is encouraging news to hear someone such as McFall stepping out and effectively saying so.

  18. Ernie Lynch @23.33 on 15/2/12,

You certainly make your postings look like a Labour Party blog, but I’ll correct that to a Unionist (as in Rangers) blog: you haven’t answered my point about CQN being a Celtic blog.

I challenge you to produce any evidence that the SNP is a cause of Scottish sectarianism (hint – that’s been around a long time, whereas the SNP is fairly recent). BTW I’m not an SNP member & don’t particularly like it, but I was in it & know far more about it than you.

  19. tonight is a bad night on this sacred blog.
