Confidence springs from the coach.
Perhaps that`s the source of the problem
Neither has become a bad player.
What explains their loss of form?
Have another look at the save 3 mins. in.
Run of the mill?
The loss of Denayer and V.V.D. was a huge loss. Particularly V.V.D.
My understanding is that it could not be prevented. ie. part of sign-on agreements.
Actually,I`m comfortable with our new pairing.Boyata seems to have imp[roved his passing and Simunovic will ,I feel, step up.
Any road up,we got 6 months of preparation.

Just like to say some of the comments about Craig Gordon have been very harsh.
Craig was excellent and possible our player of the year last year.. This season he has 3 new defenders in front of him… His shot stopping is generally his best assist.
Coming out for crosses or to intercept long balls his decision making/bravery is questionable . As we seen at inter and last night .
He was a free transfer ..he will like every player have his weak spots.
I’m glad we have Craig but do agree Bailey deserves a couple games.. Or is he another back up that is not at all trusted only there for real emergencys

I just watched the game courtesy of an excellent quality transmission from Celtic TV.
Well apart from the technical problem in the 42nd minute.
I thought we were well outplayed until they had a man sent off.
Considering how the ref was leaning I’m surprised he used his red card.
Gordon’s mistake was a poor one considering the rest of his performance.
Why can’t we master the simple craft of passing a ball to a team mate 10 yards away?
Enough of negatives for now.
Tierney once again showed he is a star in the making.
James Forrest continues to show signs of a form revival.
Allan though a wee bit flimsy looking seems to have an eye for an incisive pass.
Some development time could see him be our creative midfielder to replace Commoms.
And now to Nadir.
He’s not going to make a striker for us.
He’s a cart horse and I know Clydesdales everywhere will be offended by that.
Just find another club somewhere.
I wonder if United would accept him back as he clearly fails, the trade description act.
Hopefully our young players will benefit from the experience and Santa will send a striker down the chimney to take the weight off Griffiths.
Preparation for CL quallies starts in Perth Sunday.
We need to blood the likes of Tierney, Nesbitt, Allan, Rogic, Forrest, GMS alternating games to provide experience and understanding.
It’s not a bad outlook as we compete on three fronts for honours this season.
Dear Santa, All we want for Christmas is a striker, and our Captain’s early return.

Hello again all you young rebels.
Notice the nightshift howlers are getting a bit of stick because
of their absence the last couple of nights well here i am just so
you U.K. ghuys can get up in the morn. and scroll back and
scrutinise our nonsense .
First up , what can i say about our travelling bhoys, that support
in turkey was incredible considering we were out and the volatile
and violent night expected well , chapeau.
The team, well its where we are until somebody comes up with a
reasonable way to keep every team on a financial level playing
field and then you will see our advantage of a massive worldwide
support kick in and believe me here in Oz if i walk along the beach
with the grand kids i won’t get far until somebody wants to talk
about the hoops
Just watched the game again and i thought with a Victor W. or going
back a Bobby M. it was a game we would have won .
Now the big question?
Do we stick or twist with Ronnie ?
I’m of the opinion that Ronnie needs to get the players that he
believes will fulfil his ambition to be successful in Europe is that what
is happening, i don’t think so, does he put his neck on the line and
demand it, who knows? time will tell.
Finally, i gave a bit of stick to big Boyata the last europa game about
ducking when a free kick came towards him and a goal was scored
well i thought his commitment against Fener was better i see
a player trying and that will do for me.
O.k. you dayshift palefaces i’m out to pose on the sands with my princess
pick the negatives out of that.

Very similar to Johansen
Add the loss of VVD and Denayer and the replacing them with vastly inferior players…

Confident.Yes.
Who provides confidence?
Self belief.
Who`s job is that?
Hard to provide it when you don`t have it.
