The last thing James Forrest needed on returning to the first team after a lengthy injury absence is a two-week international break. James needs games to deliver the match fitness that is simply not possible by training. It could take him until the end of the season before he is at anything like his best.
John Kennedy will be keen to get James fit for the business end of the Scottish Cup, so I expect he will make substitute appearances in most games over the coming weeks, and perhaps a start on 3 April and play part of the game against Arbroath or Falkirk in the Cup itself. The Cup is only a landmark, though, like the rest of his teammates, the priority for James is to be in peak condition for the summer’s Champions League qualifiers.
In terms of Sunday, it’s not often I say this, but I think the players owe us one.

Is there a chance Kamara misheard what was said ? Different nationalities, a hand covering his mouth, heated atmosphere = a recipe for disaster. Racism is absolutely wrong and should be called out, however in this case, its going to be difficult to prove. The UEFA investigation into the whole situation will be intresting but unlikely to be conclusive.

We know they league was bent this year, they cheated with their style in every game, the refs more than influenced results for them and against us, distinct possibility covid cover-ups common place at i-broke too and they are behind on their tax again.
If all of that was not the case, then yes, but they know there’s no honour in their “victory” and we should not be validating their actions.
Press and media know it too, yet not one question about covid testing or finances all season.
So very sad.
James Forrest has contributed very little in champions leagues qualifiers over last 8 years
He has virtually started every one and has contributed to shambles that is Europe
He is of course best suited at home v lesser opposition and his goal stats and assists v the smaller spfl clubs is very impressive
He fails against better organised teams in Europe and Sevco
He is late twenties and past his peak
Time to move on and get a right winger who can compete at higher levels
Maybe their violent behaviour on Thursday was because they are finally being scrutinised.
You would of thought they could of tried to enjoy themselves. Or maybe the dope is wearing of or taking it’s toll on their fragile minds.
Back to us I think there’s a few of our players just for their own sake should move on after this season.

If you continually compare a player to a 1970s winger you will be continually dissapointed.
Formations adapted to stop 424 and 442 wingers.
No players cut inside more, drift, and link up much more with also drifting central players.
