Game time shortage for Compper

768

While the postponement of today’s Premiership game against Dundee was inevitable, Brendan Rodgers and the players will be far from happy not participating in a game they prepared for.  For the manager, in particular, this of one of the two games he could deploy Marvin Compper before heading to Ibrox a week on Sunday.

Compper signed his Celtic contact in December but it will be March before he wears the hoops for the first time. His experience would be invaluable at Ibrox next week, but on the back of only one game, and that against lower league opposition?

I don’t know the player but without further evidence, I’d stick with Ajer and Simonovic.

What I don’t understand is why the red warning was downgraded to amber at 10 am when the weather here in the central belt is every bit as bad as yesterday and there are now even greater accumulations of snow?

why is it ok to pull a guy down when he is running with the ball, kick the ball into the stands repeatedly, cause a stramash when returning to dressing room after the warm up,barge into a guy jumping to catch the ball, gather in a big group and try to push the other group into the crowd, pull a guy with the ball over the line, kick the ball over the bar,and it is not k to tell the manager of the team you just beat he is a baldy ozzie english shitbag.

The fitness levels and skill levels needed to excel at the game as he has done are extraordinary and demand a huge amount of dedication

Looks like there was violent conduct between rugby players in the tunnel at Murray field before a ball was even kicked or passed at the Scotland vs England international game live on TV across the whole country. It seems there was also political songs being sung that have nothing to do with rugby at the game. Then after the rugby game there was verbal and physical abuse against the England coach by Scottish fans.

I hear that the SNP are to hold a shame game summit and introduce Offensive Behaviour at Rugby legislation.

Ernie, I have phrased that badly and probably not for the first time.

My understanding is that until around 2010 or so the UK was gas self sufficient in terms of gas but from then on we became an importer of gas and that we are now a net importer of Gas. Accordingly, you are correct in that we produce less than 50% of what we consume.

What I was getting at was that from what we produce within the UK the majority of that production takes place in Scotland where there has been the worst of the weather conditions for the past two days.

My main point is that despite the Met Office being able to forecast the weather fairly accurately and common sense telling us that the energy demand will go up in such harsh conditions, the National Grid had to give a formal warning which would suggest that they were unprepared.

You have me confused, wouldn’t be hard mind you, you mentioned Loch Voil, this is what is confusing me, Loch Voil is a fair bit away from Loch Lomond and the road it’s on is a dead end, it’s connected to a smaller Loch called Doine, I lived at the bit where they joined each other, I lived there forty years ago, so you could well be right and am losing it, the nearest village is Balquhidder.

I do not understand the reluctance to call off our game vs Morton.

Not sure if its the Police or SFA/SPFL who have the final say,but all day I have been reading output from Humza Yousaf saying do not travel.

Robin Buchanan (Celtic Stadium Manager ) was tweeting saying objective is to get game on which is a bit of a contradiction considering warnings, having the park playable is only one consideration when travelling involved.
