Enjoy your Saturday day “off” I have just made my two ladies their breakfast low calorie sausages cooked in olive oil…..and the sun is shining in ML5

Beatbhoy hope that Aberdeen mob win to keep the pressure on Delia, maybe his players might respond by scoring some penalties, drop the Griff (tongue firmly placed in cheek)

    Gerrybhoy,

Yogi unlikely, doubt he’d take the conditions and he’s no good enough.

Stubbsy, seems to take too much on the chin and no good enough.

Is that how far you think we have fallen ?

  3. He got the ball. He didn’t foul the man before he got the ball. The Hamilton player came from an offside position, even if he didn’t get the ball (which he did) it wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity. So many wrong decisions all rolled into one.

So many on here suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

I’m with Foghorn above. Why do we always seem to be discussing refereeing decisions against us.

Why when “Refs” make decisions that appear to go for us, even though we are not playing in that match, results in said “ref” being sin binned. Yet “Refs” allow teams that play against us to handle on line, kick with impunity and basically subvert the laws of the game in the safe knowledge that they will not be held to account for their actions?

Some would say it has been ever thus but that doesn’t make it right.

Stop being factual …….. Did you not hear Skippy & Craigan, the ball didn’t “deviate” still wonder how that justifies a sending off as a new rule must be in place “deviation”

    Good post.

I heard on TV last night that ‘he got the ball but it doesn’t matter because the ball didn’t change direction’

Have the SFA made new Celtic last man tackle rules?

  8. Gerryfaethebrig & Philbhoy,

I may be grasping at available straws but looking at current circumstances is getting older by the game. Change is required but how much would our tight fisted “leaders” be willing to contribute?

  9. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

I’ve been banging on about health and safety of players for years now, it’s the refs responsibility and the club must raise concerns about this it is their responsibility to ensure their players are protected, if the manager witnesses an incident he should report it to the HSE or police.

I’m thinking this is the only way the referees will be brought to book.

  11. Ah well, happy are the RD haters today then eh?

They just love it when Celtic drop points, the agenda bus back in motion, it’s not like any Celtic supporters I’v ever known, I’m just glad I don’t run with people like that, don’t get me wrong I know them and distance myself from them at all times, these people I know like the ones in here just will never be happy, you’ll never be able to please them, and the ones who are involved in groups are the worse, no one is right but them, they had a meeting and that’s it we’re right.

I’m slowly but surely getting fed up with the political Celtic supporters, CT, Unions, Lefties, GB,

JF and the unpaid loan parasites who hang around with them, I find myself a minority in here supporting everything Celtic, it’s not the done thing these days, but that’s only my opinion, and the groups that I’v just mentioned there think they can stop me having that, have another think coming.

I share your concerns but am afraid we are playing the cards we are dealt, do we go out and buy, buy and buy….would that bring peace to the malcontents, we are top of the league, didn’t get beat with 10 v 12, Hamilton had the option of straight legged tackles and as another poster stated the challenge on wee Tierney could have been a hundred times worse….. But again do the purse strings get loosened ???? Simonuvic, Eric have been two hefty signings (by our standards)

Kieran Tierney should be the example to every youth player, for me that is the way Celtic should go (in an ideal Celtic world)

Aff oot with my daughter, she agrees with PFAyer…..dad you are boring me with CQN

Hail Hail and enjoy your day fellow Celtic fans

Perhaps our Insurance Premiums for work related injuries will point to a smoking gun?

The club have a duty to report work related injuries

They also have a duty to assess likelihood and severity of injuries in the workplace

Not sure what agreements or tolerances…ahem are allowed by HSE in Glasgow for WWF …ah mean sports related injuries.

Does anyone know if the same workplace standards apply to all employers & employees – including Celtic?

Gawd- getting all paranoid today :-)

  14. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

Put it this way, the Attempt on KT was a “near miss” and must be reported under HSE rules, so that an investigation and steps taken to reduce the risk of future ‘near misses’, we have plenty of HSE guys on here, they will know much better and the rules that apply.

I’m going to look at the SFA and SPFL health and safety guidance notes, I expect I’ll find nothing but you never know, in my expert opinion it’s an angle the club should have been using and investigating a long time ago, too busy with balancing the books I suppose.

  15. The hyperbole on here about another poor performance is on a par with the description of our new subs last week being the new Quality St kids. Truly amazing leap of faith there to be honest.

I noticed an article on here in which Hibs and Morton were described as not very good football teams, perhaps we should look to ourselves first. I know we are not very good at all, the inconsistency and repeated errors are all indicative of a rudderless ship.

Yes, the Red card was debatable, but in the period before that we continually allowed Accies to pour through our midfield. Yes that idiot McKinnon deserved a red, shocking abuse of power from the MIB.

However we should have scored from a penalty and at least made their keeper work from the 9 corners we had, they managed to score from one of their 4.

To be honest I have more pressing things to concern me than this current crop who represent our club. The experiment with the trainee manager has gone far enough, his pet Johansen should also be shown the door.

The club and all it means are beyond their understanding.

That is why I fail to understand people reacting with such outrage at another poor show, the current pool of players are not good enough or strong enough to do anything other than what they currently deliver.

    Hail! Hail!

  16. My goodness we are contriving to make it hard.

I thought in the last few matches we lacked a bit creativity.

Both Scott Allan and Kris Commons were on the bench against ICT.

I thought Scott Allan was bought to replace KC as our creative player.

Last night GMS , SA and KC played in the same team.

    That ain’t right

  18. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

Oh and a ‘near miss’ report must have the referees actions following the incident, that is how to bring them to book, he becomes responsible under HSE and therefore answerable as do his employers.

  19. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

I’ve been very much a Ronny backer, but if he’s going to keep missing penalties maybe he should go.

Time is the CT AGM today ?

Us lefties need to secure housing, state benefits and the nhs for the people .

After all without us the world would be a great place :-))

  21. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Morning Bhoys Ronny is wrong so wrong I dont know if it was a penalty or not but to criticise Boyata in public is wrong and poor management if he believes Boyata really cost us the win last night he should have taken the player into the dressing room and told him that he cost us the game. To single the player out in the media is wrong and can only lead to the players losing any respect they have for the manager. H.H.

  22. Poor man management surely to publicly criticise a young centre back. Isn’t that something for the dressing room. That’s even aside the fact that the ref probably got it wrong!. How does Boyata feel now? Will he hold back in future and possibly allow opportunities?

    Just giving the media ammunition.

  23. Totally disgusted with last night performance young tierney the only player with pass marks as for deila after match comments shocking am afraid it’s time to go Ronny your team are spineless gutless clueless.HH

  24. Joe Filippis Haircut on

I would also like to know why Commons was selected last night he had not played for weeks due to illness and injury and we as a team had done ok so why change it ? before the ordering off Commons in my opinion was a passenger. H.H.

  25. First job for Ronny this morning is to locate a razor and shave Brooney’s head, he is not the same player.

I want the all action, aggressive menacing player back, we need him badly.

The sending off definitely cost us the win but we had the chances to win it anyway, you can’t legislate for missing two one on ones and a penalty.

Re the Boyata incident I must admit if it was at the other end, I’d have been screaming foul.

  26. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

The post-match interview? No comment on the sending-off,still to see the replay.

That should have been the simple short answer.

Difficult to legislate for another red card and another missed penalty. And more ridiculous mibbery.

  27. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

No surprise, there is no H&S document on the SFA website.

For such an important component of today’s corporate governance responsibilities I’d expect a document is required for every company to include not only their own employees but for those who they are responsible to manage.

More digging methinks, any H&S ghuys. Out there able to give me any pointers ?

  28. Joe Filippis Haircut on

We do have to keep things in perspective had GMS scored when he was one on one with the keeper and Sparky had scored from the second penalty we would have won comfortably but that is football. I will give credit to Hamilton they worked hard and clattered a Celtic player as often as they could. I was not impressed with the team selection and certainly not impressed with Ronnys after match comments. H.H.

Shirley you can’t be serious. !!!!

HSE involvement on the football park ? Can you imagine the time it would take our players to read and understand the undoubted pages and pages and even more pages of paperwork, prior to entering the field of play. Our training would consist of endless slides of risk control and subsequent mitigation for a simple game of football. When would they actually do any real training. ? I presume they actually do some at the moment.

We have 96 pages of “information” on how to use a ladder, can you imagine how many pages on a dangerous tackle ?

Football is already over regulated, we need less not more.

Anyway to players like LG, the phrase, “proactive with prevention” would probably mean a trip to the chemist or at a minimum a visit to the shiny machines in a gents toilet.

We should have won last night…LG should have buried that pen.

    However, we move on..

RD wont be sacked before the end of the season.

But i will be amazed if he is still in charge next season…CL, the Huns and the honest mistakes, the SFA.

We need a stronger manager…..and some of our players need their ars** booted.

We are struggling against the likes of Hamilton…that says a lot.

Not good enough by a long way.
