My dad took me to my first cup final v Hibs 6-1. My main memory is Billy McNeill scoring in front of me in the Hibs end which was mainly Celtic fans. Then the riot at half time when Celtic and Hibs fans fought and filled the air with bottles thrown. Was weird seeing guys in green and white battering lumps out of guys in green and white wi funny accents. :)

  2. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Delaney’s, for some reason my mum also attended that game with us. She stayed up the back of the terracing while my dad and I were near the front.

She was quite opinionated and she probably kicked everything off lol.

We will all be waking up feeling champion in the morning.

Good night all and sleep well

Having to endure those empty seasons makes days like yesterday all the more enjoyable.I appreciate and take satisfaction from every trophy we win and the league title is always the sweetest. To do so in the way we have this season is just gravy.

After a sluggish start we played intoxicating attacking football and scored some beautiful goals.I could watch this team of ours endlessly.

It’s the first time i’ve watched us win a title without having a drink, unfortunately due to my old man’s condition i’m needed in sobriety, and I wonder just how good we’d have looked through the enhancing haze of a good swally. We were a joy to behold and it was a very emotional experience watching the game with my bhoy and old fhella as the three of us might not get the chance to do so together again.

People always say it’s only a game, and that’s true, but Celtic has been passed to me from my da and onto my bhoy from me,they have been a massive part of our lives. So many hours have been shared watching, discussing, disagreeing, celebrating and without Celtic there’d be a void.It was bittersweet watching the game today not knowing if i’ll get to savour another title in my old man’s company. But his “YESSS” after Paddy’s finish will live long with me.

Our club means so much to us and sharing that feeling with loved ones is special.Family will always come first but Celtic plays a major role in the happiness of a lot of families.Today Celtic made 3 generations of my family happy in what is a very difficult time for us.

    Thank you Celtic.

Absolutely magical to see the innate decency of Tims on CQN , my friend.

Compare that to the nauseating behaviour displayed by Hearts supporters towards Mikael Lustig .

One of them actually punched the ball out of his hand .

Meanwhile the local constabulary amble up . No rush there.

    Mind `ow you go.

Seriously , if Celtic supporters had behaved in that way, can you imagine the outrage WE would have demonstrated towards our own ?

Looked at the footage several times.

Guy picks up the ball and hurls it at Mikael hitting him in the …errr…..crotch area.

    Violent and intimidating gestures .

The footage of our boys singing in the dressing room, does that not make yer heart glad.

And the play today, I wish my dad had seen it. And my Uncle, and ma Granda.

The fight he had…. Man… this would have been a good day.

  15. Mr Rodgers, thanks for highlighting your appreciation of what Johnny Collins brings to the Cellic table.

Mr Rodgers….the only fear that I have about you…..and, maybe even you canny see it yet….

Is that, Celtic PLC are going to shove you out as a cushion for Timdom to land on….

When the huns get away wi all they’re tax dodging stuff.

It’s not often that I’m right so, hopefully that continues.

Was over in Zante and couldn’t find anywhere to watch the game but thanks to everyone on CQN who provided a “You are there commentary.”. Absolutely magic, Celtic. Well done Brendan and the Bhoys

Phil’s latest exposing Glasgow City Council’s refusal to supply the information which he requested under Freedom of Information Act is worrying.(roofs at Ibrox) . The Council’s reasoning seems spurious.

Prayers for all those who requested them.

Beautiful comments pal. Thanks. Being part of this through the generations is special to so many. More than just a game. It’s a family.

KOLO’S BRILLIANT WAR DANCE, It will never catch on…………….or will it ?

Over to the Bhoys and Ghirls of the Green Brigade ? They couldn’t possibly have thousands of Celtic fans doing the same dance and singing on the slopes of Celtic Park………..or could they ?

    It’s good being TIM.

If a player leaves Celtic there aren’t many bigger clubs in the world.

It’s money that makes the difference. Can you imagine Celtic with the money from the EPL?
