The first goal was my favourite, nearly burst the net, a close thing between Armstrong & Paddy for the runner up, Armstrong’s just shades it for me. All great goals though.
Boure, I wish my memory could remember more important things rather than memories of things connected to Celtic.

As you say all goals are good, for me Craig Gordon was magic in the first half and has been brilliant all season, sometimes the players who don’t get the headlines are sometimes the most important

Gerry, I dont know if its already been mentioned but Calum played his part in our second and third goals by dummying the ball , for Roberts in the build up to our second and for Armstrong at our third.

Your memory of Celtic games are second to none, your ears would have been burning today as I was telling my company about your knowledge of games, my young nephew was amazed we used to get the Gorgie road end, if it wasn’t for you I would have doubted being behind those goals myself :-)
I sometimes go on other clubs’ web sites to gauge opinion and TBF, this Hearts one (http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk) has a fair few people who talk sense –
‘Armstrong is probably the best midfielder in Scotland right now.
Forest is a new man under Rodgers.
Roberts was valued 12m a few years ago. I’d say about 5 but that’s 5 more than we could afford.
Tierney will move for over 10m when the time comes and arsenal have been sniffing about him.
Gordon’s got a flap in him these days but he’s still a very dependable experienced keeper.
As Scottish football teams go they are ******* outstanding and Rodgers has them playing winning football.
I hate it, absolutely ******* hate it but it’s not a debate, they are a really good side by our countries standards. ‘

Gerry, my main memories are of games I went to in my teens when my focus was on the Celts , going to gigs and nights out with my pals
My memory of games after the Centenary season is not as good.
Getting into the Gorgie end at Tynecastle used to be a nightmare as there wasn’t enough turnstiles for us . They eventually let us use turnstiles , to the left of the Gorgie terrace to ease congestion .
We started going into the ground about 15 minutes before kick off to avoid the crush outside.
Brockville was the worst to get in and out of.
Gerry, Agree about Gordon, thought he did his job very well.
30 games played in League 81 scored & 18 conceded. I know Craig has games where he is idle for a long time but if anything that makes his saves all the more impressive.
Best goal for me today was Roberts’ 2 players in front of him and h pings it between the both of them and into the far corner. Astounding finish!

I think Craig is a brilliant goalie and was gutted when Brendan put DeVries in…..but what do I know, Craig got back in and has been amazing, I love the fact he has been in the premiership, had a bad injury, in my eyes he is loving winning and like nearly every player has performed better under Brendan,mi said this today, I think Brendan is even more influential than Martin O’Neil

My wee nephews pal was in St Vincent’s for the game, then ended up in Bar67 he bet Celtic -5 at 50/1…… why was the “own” goal disallowed ?????
Scott Sinclair didn’t touch the ball, 2nd phase nonsense, and if he did touch the ball the Hearts guy touched it before him so should surely play him on…….

Great to be champions again. My teenage kids don’t know any different. Having lived through the EBT and OPM years I am truly grateful for the procession of silverware.

Gerry, I read about his Brendan to Arsenal chat on soccer Saturday , yesterday.
I’m bored as others probably are going on about him.
He riles me with his lack of praise for us and not sticking up for us and Scottish football .
Chris Sutton is the exact opposite. i have heard him on BT and radio 5 sticking up for us and Scottish fotball.
Charlie’s an Arsenal man now and that’s his choice.
His only saving grace is that he has said on sky a few times , Danny was the best player he has ever played with.
