  1. £49:00 ticket = Rangers FC vs Celtic FC = Old Firm.

Anybody who tries like a, thick, stubborn mule to deny the above, then that mule deserves to be cheated.

Only 000’s of empty seats will get rid of an, absent, invisible, Old Firm Orientated PLC board.

Its all about, rebel song singers, becoming “real” rebels.

    Good luck.

When the first went in I thought where was the full back. Then told we were playing three at the back. Think Hibs away is one of our poorest records of late, perhaps Brendan thought Hibs bubble was well burst for the season.

Their cheating sticks in my throat but our government done heehaw about it … Sir dodgy Dave should just be dodgy Dave ….

But trust me the Hun hoardes are broken … I live in amongst them we reside in lovely Celtic times

Never had any time for any Celtic board

  4. Let’s imagine that Peter Lawell loosens the purse strings come January and Brendan Rodgers fulfills his wish list.Is there any guarantees that whoever he brings in is going to be any better than those already in place. Man for man the Celtic team that took to the park today should be walking all over Hibs,if they were playing in their more natural positions. Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he got it wrong today which I accept. What I can’t accept is that from 10 minutes into the game he knew that he had got it wrong and he didn’t either know or have the courage to change it. The triple treble will be in dire jeopardy if we draw Hibs Hearts Aberdeen or Kilmarnock away in the cup and we put on another tactically naive performance as the manager did today.

    Lessons from today:

    1. We are over-reliant on KT. He brings us a drive and creativity on the left which noone else right now can

    2. SS has had too many chances. Now a significant waste of wages.

    3. OE needs competition.

    4. JF was our only real performer. Stay fit!

    5. We can’t do 3 at the back.

    6. We must learn to press the opposition like Hibs did to us. We stood off them.

    7. The passing out from the back is commendable as a tactic, but in practice we are embarrassingly poor at its execution. Repeated short passes between the back 3 and Gordon, often resulting in a lumped-up ball anyway. Frustrating.

    8. What has happened to us at set pieces?

We must score from fewer than 1 in 20 corners.

We can’t retain the ball from throw ins!!

  6. GERRYFAETHEBRIG, its obvious the goverment through masonic ties let him away with it but dermot desmond mr obrien have no excuses unless their masonic to.

  7. Gerryfaethebrig on

Let’s not imagine … let’s deal with the facts … league cup in the bag, last 32 of the EL (draw tomorrow at 12pm Celtic Park time) and not top of the league with game in hand ….

Things could be not as good :-)

  8. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Gordon, KT, Benkovic, Boyata, Lustig, McGregor, Brown, Rogic, Christie, Forrest & Edouard is good team. N’tcham also a good 1st team player, as is Izzy. After that it’s mostly dross, indistinguishable from the standard at other clubs. This is going to be touch and go all season as we have no form away from home. Pittodrie and Ibrox will be hard. On current form don’t see us winning either. That was a bang out of form Hibs team that tanked us today. Scott Sinclair needs to go. One bottled tackle too many.

Again … am no board lover BUT too mention Dermot in the same sentence as the “crook” is shocking …. remember Ayr Utd wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole as the apple never falls far from the tree

    Lessons from today:

add 9. SB is too slow in mind and thought , not the type of player required in today’s game

    10. OE never an out and out target man ,no first touch, can’t play with back to goal.

    11. ON was went back the way in his performances of late.

get stevie clarke in and sort this mess out

    I agree.

Brendan says we need 2 strikers ???

    Add 2 centre backs

    A right back

    Def mid

    Left winger

    And 3 strikers.

Edouard is not cutting it. £10mill is the biggest robbery of all time.

Maybe my perspective is a wee bit different from watching today’s performance from behind the goals . Couldn’t decide wether today’s or the performance against Motherwell a week past Wednesday was the more abject.

  16. Killie at home, Celtic were immense however the really great teams have got to be consistent both home and away. Our away form in both Europe and domestically has been anything but consistent.

Can someone please explain to me where the certainty comes from that we will win this league?

    =======================

    From watching football.

And we’ll win it by double-figure points clear, around mid-end April.

Now, what’s your next soccer query?

    ————–

We won the league last season by 9 points, but you’re confident from ‘watching football’ that we will win this season by a greater margin

    ========================

    Yeah.

‘Double figures’ = Over ten points

    Next.

  21. Against a Neil Lennon team who have lost once in the league at home in 2018 you’ve got to have the right attitude from the start.

Our attitude stank today. Worrying that ON was looking at an extended period on the bench at best, gets his chance and stinks the place out.

Worrying that OE knows he has no competition suddenly and puts in a performance like that

Worrying that Brendan chooses a formation like that that looks wrong from minute 1and doesn’t change it. He was easily outthought by Lenny today

  22. Good evening, friends. Before I read back can I profusely apologise for the wording of my Podium post on Page 1. The ole Jobo Jinx has kicked in yet again. Sorry for spoiling your afternoon. Think I’ll just start from page 13…..

  23. 4 games til the break.

Win all four, title about in the bag.

5 in and 5 out in January.

    Ready for CL summer QF.

    Straightforward enough.

  24. succulentlambstinks on

To continually play that imposter Sinclair who stalls or misses gilt edged chances is beyond me. I could run past lustig and get crosses in before he decided to move his lazy arse and actually block a cross. Ntcham looks like he’s been dembeled to the head.

We often play down a left wing with Sinclair and leave Forrest redundant on the right. Why ????

10 mins to go and Gordon passes to right back then left back then right back then left back then humps his usual upfield to opposing plyrs why ?????? Why Brendan ??????

  25. It’s important not to fall into the Celtic plc trap that has everyone benchmarking against Sevco. That is what Lawwell does and that’s why he’s not fit for purpose.

Today we were abject. This season we’ve dropped 15 points after 16 matches having only won 3 out of 9 away. It is nowhere near good enough for a club of our resources.

We should set our own standard, if we do that as we have done in the past we would be miles ahead. This season has been a calamity from where we ended last season. The Chief Executive and the Board failed to support the double treble winning Manager, undermined him and left him with a weaker squad by Brendan Rodgers own admission. A completely unacceptable situation. In fact it’s worse than unacceptable, it’s scandalous.

Lawwell is culpable, he has been negligent and complacent. He lacks the necessary vision or ambition to take the Club beyond the Sevco dystopia. The Board are simply happy to cash in on the bigot buck, the nett effect of which will be to drag us back to our opponents. Lawwell needs to go and he can take most of his Board colleagues with him.
