A comment our team and our COLLECTIVE strengths and weaknesses, if you will allow it!
(please note this is for spl only – for europe we can never compete with the money we don’t have)
Defence – Strong
Midfield – Strong
Attack – Strong
The biggest problem is how each of the units interacts, IMO>
Defence and Midfield generally work well together both going forward attacking and defending. For the SPL we are as strong as we have been here in a long, long time. Even with Jozo injured and Bitton covering, we generally are really comfortable.
Where we struggle to be efficient is going from midfield to front. Often we are disjointed and I would reckon a good number of our goals comes from our strikers/wingers having a moment of brilliance.
IF we could get a 10 million (and I know its a big fecking if) player that could help connect our midfield to our strikers/wingers we could really go places.
Now, I know that we are undefeated for a feck load of games in the spl.
Actually I can’t argue against that fact :D
I would love to see us spunk a huge amount of dinero’s on that type of player tho……..

Brendan has never lost a game in any of Scotland’s competitions. This Celtic team has achieved great things for Scotland not withstanding the near £400,000 each of the SPFL clubs have received due to our CL efforts. I’m not kidding here when I say someone in the Scottish parliament should congratulate Celtic for what they have achieved for Scotland. However I will not hold my breath. Hh

Thought he had a good game today but still struggling for full match fitness.
There was one pass in 1st half from Mike L about halfway line that the xaptain let run by him and Bhoyata had to scramble across to retrieve.
Lustig did the big wtf arm motions and Broony just shrugged.
I also think he is pissed off with SFA and will not be back. Which is excellent for Celtic.
The aforementioned Boyata had a good game. Still a kid and no experience around him to learn from so it’s on his shoulders. He needs support going forward.
I hope B R finds Dembele a better option than LG in the games ahead.The wee man seems seriously off form at the moment.No comment about LG,as I do not do that,but he seems a bit worn out.Moussa seems full of it.

On Thurs several newsnow articles had us interested in Danny Ings.
I believe Celtic did enquire about a Liverpool forward in the summer, but it wasn’t Danny Ings, who has been out injured this past 18 months

I was very surprised Moussa didnt start today. Having a think about, i can only assume Brendan has him in mind for Bayern at home and is being ultra cautious with him. I will be even more surprised if he doesn’t start on Wednesday night now.
