  1. We looked a little jaded today but scored 4 and lost 1, well 2 if you count the cheating one.

Good going after a hard game on Wednesday and a hard run before that.

This place is quiet,we must’ve won

    We werre awesome

  3. Sometimes I watch a game & then read the comments on CQN & wonder If I watched the same game as everybody else.

Our team probably got to bed around 5 or 6a am on Thursday morning after a very torrid game the night before, a little more than 48 hours later they played a very decent pumped up Hibs team & beat them 4-1.

I thought it was a brilliant game, yes we tired a bit second half and there was a few misplaced passes but the 3 subs got us going again & overall given all the circumstances I thought we were brilliant.

I said straight after Final Whistle my MOM was Brooney with Bhoyata runner up.

There were a couple of posts during the game slagging Dedryck, no bloody way, the guy is flying.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game and I’m just loving everything about Celtic at the moment.

If I had to pick one thing that bothers me it’s the seemingly non stop injuries that are hitting Jozo.

He is an outstanding player, if we had a fit Jozo & Dedryck we could give the Europa a fair rattle.

  4. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

Just back from the Wimbledon Irish Centre,a marvellous day in marvellous company.

Bit of a trip,mind-left the house just after 6am straight after a nightshift!

Bumped into some new faces well-lived in-as well as some good friends who I only wish I had the pleasure of meeting more regularly.

Including-especially-the smashing Rab who needs to get his arse on here more often. His moniker is apt.

    THE HONEST MISTAKE

  5. Treble Winning Captain

I was in Mexico, getting home Wed.

There was 2 Hibernian supporting couples I spoke to at the pool – they were coming home today

They told me, there was an un – official Hibs supporters bhoycott for today, being kept quiet to ensure it cost FtSFA and hamdump money

There’s a fact – no idea if true, but told to me by 2 Hibs fans

  6. Corkcelt

Bhoyata is our defensive rock at the moment.

He’s played with at least 4 partners, maybe 5 and has come through with flying colours.

With a reliable, strong CH beside him he could be a superstar.

  7. CC,

    Broonie is really surprising me.

I think I know about things.

Those Northern Irish Men and Girls. Genius.

They went through so much sh!t, they also happen to have the very BEST Coaches in World Fitba IMO, I know not a Lot.

    Brendan and Neil. ;))

  8. Corkcelt

I watched the game again from about the 32nd minute

You are correct Broonie had a fantastic game.

Moussa, also now looks ready to be starting games.

Boyata, did give the ball away a couple of times causing defence issues, but, he has the pace to recover, which we need.

On a negative note, James Forrest does not have the bottle to fight for his place, 3 or times he pulled out of challenges where he had a 70/30 advantage, didn’t not notice until watched a 2nd time

  9. Corkcelt @9:01

My kind of post. I would say, though, that it is not EVERYONE who is negative. It is just that those who are, are more forcibly so than the more measured tones of those who see the positives in games. Re Jozo. His injuries are a concern but I think Ajer could very well turn out to be a most able partner for Boyata.

    JJ

  10. At least the Hibs fans had the baws to leave the seats empty, unlike the back ae the bus Parkheid rebels (¡)

Anyway,….Ghuy Fawkes AR LA oan BBC1….the noo.

    …..oot.

  11. Dallas.

In some ways I’m happy that he was getting a bit of stick, in other ways I wish we would just ignore the wee runt ( to use your phraseology).

Cumbernauld are away to Thorton Hibs in Scottish next week. Paddy has permission to miss game, wait for it, as he is in London to watch American football. No way would I have allowed that.

    Corkcelt. 9.01

I hope I don’t sound sycophantic but you have nailed it.

The team didn’t arrive back in Glasgow until 4.00 am.

Boyata has improved enormously in the past year. He’s confident enough to organise the defence now and has in the main stopped giving away those silly free kicks outside the box now, when he averaging players and they were making the most of it. I don’t understand the criticism of him either.

    Hail Hail

a boycott is only effective if it’s known that it’s happening otheerwiseno point

  13. KevJ

I feel like the blog’s on repeat when I see your posts.

FFS, a boycott only works when everybody supports it.

  14. Is KJ a kid on?COWIEBHOY not long back from Mexico.where were you if you don’t mind me asking:-))

  15. Jophes

I have no idea how Hibs fans arrange/coordinate, just stating what 2 Hibs fans told me whilst on holiday

I have personally not attended a Scottish Cup or League Cup game for about 6 years, like quite a few Celtic fans will not return to these until FtSFA are cleared out – we can debate around the League Cup, but FtSFA get money for hiring out Hamdump for Semi and final games, not a penny from me – FtSFA

Joined in my bhoycott by Jobo today :-) so our ( Celtic fans) numbers also growing

  16. Fairhill Bhoy 9.31.

Kev J. is real. Has been vouched for as a good ghuy by well known people on the blog and has posted some very kind posts to me.

Rob McLean who posted the other day, well that’s a different matter, isn’t that right Kev. Nudge nudge.

    Hail Hail

I see you beat me too it, I’m glad it just wasn’t me who noticed though.

    Hail Hail

  19. CorkCelt

I thought Boyata had a very good game today especially when defending.

Where he can fall short is the occasional misplaced pass but these are usually forward passes when he is trying to thread a ball through a busy midfield.

A stumble let him lose control but he recovered well and was unlucky the officials gave a penalty.

I thought we were well in control and the penalty just made a game of it.

  20. Fairhill Bhoy

I was originally in Sian Ka’an (Bahia Principe – Adults only, and classed as luxury) Riveria Maya, but demanded they either move me complex or resort – it came highly recommended but my view very very dissapointed in the condition of this part of complex ( filthy) and we had a penthouse apartment

We were moved to the adults only section in the Akumel – Bahia Principe, which was a huge improvement, but nowhere near as good as previous visits to Mexico

I have stayed in the Royal Cancun, and the Casitas in Eldorada Royal – both far far superior

JIMMYNOTPAUL- the guy is not a Celtic supporter, anything but

  23. COWIEBHOY-we stayed in sun palace, back for our tenth anniversary,we stayed and got married in moon palace the last time, honestly can’t find fault with it apart from first room offered:-))

  24. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Jimmynotpaul, Junior players seem to be able to miss games for any reason . I assume Paddy won’t get paid if he misses one of Cumernauld’s games through personal choice.

Logan is a nae use nuthin fae naewhere that knows hee haw aboot hee haw , as a wise man (not me) once said.

I agree with you about Boyata. My son and I were at Rugby Park last season when from nowhere , Dedryk was in our starting eleven , most around us were astounded of forehead at his inclusion .

He played a few loose passes initially but came onto a good game as the match progressed.

Since the turn of the year , he has been very consistent for us and is now a vital player for us. I’m also impressed by his bawling out of team mates when required..

    His dreads are cool.
