Hugely important League Cup tie

873

We have had games which were hugely important to the club, and to our new manager, some which were ‘must win’ games, which were ultimately lost, but tomorrow’s League Cup tie against Hearts is a must win game for different reasons.

A year ago we lost in this competition to one of the worst teams to win at Celtic Park in the last half century, possibly longer, but thus Hearts side are a Premiership team in all but name and come with the weight of their history behind them to fell Scottish football’s last superpower.

I’ve seen Hearts win at Celtic Park before, there is one particular painful memory as they taunted us while drawing, but Ronny and his new recruits should know, this game ranks above all league matches in order of importance.

GG, no worries, I’m wearing my dry suit on top of my gimp suit with my Celtic onesie on top for extra protection.

It’s a dark dark place over there right now. They’re ramping up for meeting us in a cup this season. Hatred is on max. Lets hope they get pumped out of all the cups like they normally do.

I have no desire to see their Nazi scum support ever again let alone this close to their big political victory last week.

AnT, I’ve been a member of Carnoustie GC for 24 years and one thing you learn is that Carnoustie golfers were the early pioneers who took the game to America and Australia.

MacDonald Smith unfortunately a name that would not be recognised by most sclaffbaw officionado’s.

All his medals are on display in the CGC, including his US open ones. A golfing legend.

And, for me, that includes the proposed, (agreed?), meeting of the two nations in Glasgow.

“I have no desire to see their Nazi scum support ever again let alone this close to their big political victory last week.”

Because I foresee a huge contingent of the worst of their English compatriots coming to make a point to the innocent people of Glasgow.

Copeland bear on hun media tells the world “born a bear, die a bear”.

Yes Copeland bear, hopefully soon after birth, by a hunters bullet, as a cub.

You can’t beat nice soft bear cub skin slippers, although seal fur comes close.

Alasdair MacLean, are you anticipating a large contingent of Chelsea fans when we finally meet the new Glasgow club?

I was talking to Ohits on Sunday before the game and he told me a story about a guy (hun) he met on a train from Newcastle on Saturday. The hun blamed Chelsea fans for the loyalist violence the previous night in George square.

I thought it was just over exuberant no supporters. I’m sure Ernie and neg2 will fill us in on the gaps.

It’s open season on Catholics as far as the right wing scum are concerned, they blame us for providing 45% of last week’s vote and don’t like it.

    Take care

  12. Can someone explain to me why tomorrow’s league cup tie with the mini huns is so important?

Is it A false pretense of horror at George square kristallnacht

Or another celtic corporate slight of hand OMG if bothe old firm can nae beat the hertz how awful!

Yes ya beauty more bonuses next year?

  13. Alasdair MacLean on

    A Ceiler Gonof Rust,

OHITS is a good friend of mine – next time you see him tell him we’ve conversed!

I was actually talking about the forthcoming Scotland England game. Oct / Nov proposed / agreed.

  14. A Ceiler Gonof Rust on

Alasdair MacLean, I’m not a religious man but I was raised a catholic and as much as I turned from the church I think Catholicism did instil in me a sense of right and wrong.

I’ll give you an example of the wrong and wrong instilled in the hun who infest our planet.

I’ve got a cousin, a Celtic daft cousin who married a bitter hun. How that happened is beyond my comprehension but it happened. When my beautiful maternal grandmother died he refused to enter a catholic church on the day of her funeral. He stood outside like he would self combust if he had gone inside. A total prick.

I didn’t understand that stance then and It ill don’t. So, I may not be religious but being brought up amongst such strong bigotry has stuck with me.

I hope he comes to my funeral. My last wish is that he’s buried with me, alive. Although, him being a hun will mean a much larger grave. Feckit, I’ll go for a slow burn:__))

  15. Alasdair MacLean on

And as CQN’s resident Ross County supporting, orange order hating, protestant, Celtic loving resident –

I do hope that a significant part of the 45%, (and this is no disrespect to those of the 55%), were of the Roman Catholics of our population.

To suggest that the vote of the people of Scotland was derived along these lines – I can only, not laugh. despair…no, sigh. FFS. Fetch me a glass of water….

Only a fool would divide the people of Scotland along these lines nowadays.

  16. A Ceiler Gonof Rust on

Alasdair MacLean, will do, I’ve met him a couple of times at the last two home games. That’s a man that like a bevy:-)

Mags, stop being a fanny, beating the mini huns is always great for tims, you know it is. Forget your corporate / plc pish for a minute and think of the football.

Are you still planning being here in Nov? I’ve not heard from you H bomb in a while. Hope all is well with him.

  17. A Ceiler Gonof Rust on

Alasdair MacLean, exactly. The huns themselves regularly quote the catholic population of this land regularly as being about 17% and complain the minority are running the country.

Now, they’re quoting 45% as being papish bassa’s. That’s a hell of a leap even for the thick Hun bastards, but this is what they are now claiming.

    Stupidity is their comfort zone.

Goodnight buddy and I’ll be sure to pass your best to Ohits if I have the pleasure of meeting him at the next home game.

And goodnight to my beautiful Annabel. When will we see your like again, strut your sexy stuff on the Scottish political forum like only you could.

Only the lovely Margaret Beckett is capable of replacing you but alas, she’s not got Scottish credentials:-(

I’m off to cry myself into a stupor then a coma.

Maggie, yes they did, I live in one of them.

Shameful but not irretrievable when the loyalist unionists renege on their “vow”.

  25. Well done Celtic on holding a minutes silence for both Celtic legend John Divers and Hearts supporter Gordon Wilson at tonight’s game.

A sensible move to also give the away support an opportunity to offer condolences to one of their own simultaneously.

  30. My friends in Celtic,

Looking forward to the game tonight.

I am desperate for a win and I am acutely aware that we may end up playing the newest club in the competition.

We will deal with that if and when it happens. Given the choice I would never want to play them again, but I am a realist.

    HH.

PS : It is getting a bit tedious constantly reading about all No voters being classed collectively as “loyalist unionists”. The trouble in George Square was a West of Scotland issue and was not reciprocated anywhere else in Scotland. Even in Salmonds own SNP backyards who he failed to “persuade”.

Get over it and move on.
