Injustice for the cheats, win two tickets for Sunday

379

By any measure, last night was tough on Juventus.  A heroic performance at the Bernabeu to take a 0-3 lead, only to be denied by a soft penalty at the death.  Juventus are the pin-up boys for cheating in football, Oldco Rangers failure to register second contracts pales into insignificance to what the team from Turin were doing over the same period.

As I watched the pains of injustice on the faces of Buffon and his teammates I wondered how they feel about the titles some of them still claim to have “won on the field.”  Or, whether their perpetual fouling and gamesmanship against Celtic in 2013 even merits a memory.

I didn’t care either way who won last night but Juventus going out feeling cheated seems about right.

Fife is a strange one. I lived and worked there on and off for 5 years. There is an overt PUL orange, masonic whiff in the air. I tuned into the large Communist type underground Fifers. They are a closed community but community they are. It is why I love the Kingdom. That and my son was born in Kirkcaldy.

Just jumping in, not read back.

Just watchin’ the Sporting v Atletico game, 2nd half just started. Now for whatever stoopid reason, it seems that UEFA frown on numbers on the back of a hooped top, to the point where we have to vandalise our famous top, with a big skwerr on the back, to host the number. I always think it looks gash, but now I think that it’s because the skwerr is white, and it’s not actually the skwerr.

Sporting have a green skwerr, with a white number and it looks good. In fact it’s cool.

    Get it sorted Celtic

“Or, yeez can let the linguistic mandarins, take yeez by the hand, and lead yeez away doon, the big, long, twisted, never ending, yellow brick road of Res:12, playing by the establishments rules, ”

What Res12 has done and continues to do is expose the yellow brick road that supporters have been led down.

What is sad is the lack of anger at what is being exposed and if folk won’t act on that when the full depth of skullduggery emerges then no amount of endless repetition to act from darkest Blantyre is going to have an effect.

It will however be up to Celtic to take the lead if the Comp Off investigation attempts to mask non disclosure as anything other than a deliberate attempt to avoid the repercussions that justice demands.

  18. Auldheid –

The Season Ticket renewal deadline is 11th May. As far as I know there is absolutely no benefit to any individual supporter by renewing early. So even the majority(?) who have already decided they will renew no matter what would delay doing so for even another 3 weeks it’d be very interesting to see what impact that might have. For me personally I’m finding it hard to justify £514 up front whilst still waiting to learn of the Compliance Officer’s report. And I have already told that to the Club through various channels.

I have difficulty in imagining not attending games next season. At the same time, there’s 29 days till the deadline – so no rush, people.

The Battered Bunnet’s excellent article (linked back on Page 1) has only emboldened me further.
