Why the constant need for a scapegoat. Efe was solid tonight so wee Jamsie gets it.

    Pathetic

Maybe people see someone not trying a leg when his 9 teammates are busting a gut. Not a scapegoat just disappointing to see someone with the pace and ability, although maybe not the fitness, to make a difference in away games in Europe. As I said, in injury time Johansen is running past him to get at their defence.

re “wee Jamsie” where have you been for the past 3 years … He is gutless and does not want to work He has had his chance …. Move him on

Well said. Celtic fans love to stick the boot into our young players.

  4. Great performance. I thought that VVD’s 2nd tackle looked more like a booking than the 1st one. The ref was very poor however. Guidetti dived a bit too IMO.

The team is coming on very well, I like RD’s philosophy on the game and they look very fit. They will learn from performances like this and come back next season stronger and wiser.

Forrest isint a scapegoat, he’s hopeless and never fit long enough to get any better, it’s nothing to do with tonight

You probably made the right choice I had the security from the Hotel at the door thinking I was being attacked when I was screaming at the TV , not good for the blood pressure .

  7. Very proud of the Tic, great performance and with a little rub of the green we would have qualified. God Bless you Celtic.

  8. Forrest wasn’t tonight’s scapegoat; he was just not good enough and hasn’t been for a while. He no longer brings anything to the table — sadly.

Nir Bitton reminds me of George Connelly, what a loss to football that Bhoy was.

I’ve lauded Jsmes Forrest on many occasions here in the past. I was very disappointed in him tonight. Struck me as having the attitude of a Billy Big Time. While everyone else burst s gut for the cause his attitude was that of a petulant schoolboy. Held his arms up in protest when he lost the ball instead of playing to the whistle. He’s regressing and will swuander a great talent if he doesn’t buck up his ideas.

In fact Celtic did make a DVD of the honest mistakes in 2010/11 and took it to the SFA.

They patronisingly left Tony Mowbray with Hugh Dallas to explain the decisions and if his explanation was questioned TM was asked what are you suggesting.

Unless you have pics of a brown envelope changing hands and a receipt saying it’s a bribe then it’s a waste of time.

  12. Wullie Miller and the rest of the sheep wetting themselves because we’ve had a tough night, come Sunday they’ll be put back in there pen 3-0 Celtic

our soon away centre half gets a pass.

Well I’m proud of that team tonight. Dont give a gnats baws about Inter Milan being mid table, the money theyve spent far exceeds ours.

To concentrate on the bigger picture – how are we playin?

I saw fast passing football and, when we could, we’re movin the ball back to front far quicker than we used to. Pressing when we dont have the ball.

I’ve always said Ronnie needs at least a year. I think there are still some weaknesses in his ability to tailor formation and tactics to the situation. GMS sub was a mistake imo, but its easy for me to say.

I’m beginning to believe in the man

  15. Let Ronny decide who stays and who goes. 100% faith in the Mhan. Hope the board back him to the hilt, we are so close to greatness

Can see his face quite clearly, shouldn’t be too difficult to identify and ban.

  17. Heard on Sunday that James Fortest was grandson of ex Ger, Jim Forrest, who was dumped after Berwick.

    Can anyone confirm ?

    Just for stats.

Would not hold that against the lad as the Forest of Gers was a good player.

  19. That picture of the Morons on the BBC report is quite clear and the “morons” should be easily recognised … So if anyone knows any of them Report them to the club and ban them for life !!!!

He’s not a young boy anymore. He needs to grow up and show some bottle. Sadly i think he should be doing it somewhere else.

  21. a light insanity on

Disappointed but not disheartened. I hate it when dubious refereeing decisions spoil what was going to be a good game. Hope he is not reading CQN he would probably book me for saying that.

  22. Why listen to panelists who know the sum of zero about us or our squad, who is in form , who isnt. Who is capable of x or who is capable of y.

Any member of this site could leave these paid experts for dead when it comes to knowledge about the Hoops. They are not talking to us but the neutral viewer who knows less about us than they do.

  23. TheOriginalSadiesBhoy on

Meanwhile Di Rossi gets away with a thuggish challenge against Feyenoord with impunity.

  24. OK I’ll take that back – I dont want to make Forrest a scapegoat – it is a team effort after all – Maybe Forrest needs another 6 months to get into Ronny’s way of playing because he keeps playing him and obviously sees something in him

  25. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

Joe Hansen, Broony, Armstrong and Biton – best Celtic midfield in years.

If Victor or Ki signed for us in the morning – who are you going to leave out of the current four?

    Nobody.

    That’s who.

    Powerful Celtic.
