  1. Rowley Birkin QC on

That tw@t Hargreaves and some other long haired no-mark saying Nir Bitton or Scarlett should have been sacrificed as they didn’t offer much. What feckin game were they watching!

  2. Usually i’m not into glorious defeats in Europe but this one feels different. We are on the right track.

    All Hail to the Bhoys

  3. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Rony is the mhan I hope there is no more nonsense about sacking him.Big VVD is not all he thinks he is if we get 10 million give it to Rony to build and wee Jamsie just doesnt have it we need to move him on.The team deserves a lot of credit and we are going in the right direction lets get the treble now Europe is out of the way. H.H.

  4. Amazing the difference 8 months can make to a team’s development.

Would Legia have horsed us if we had met now?

If you don’t understand that it takes time for any manager to make his mark then you know little about football but when has that ever stopped uninformed criticism?

We competed even with 10 men. That is what reasonable supporters want to see. Roll on the next game.

  5. We must try and keep VVD and Denayer if it is financially possible.

I don’t think that the real big English clubs will be that impressed with him defensively.

But he is a colossus for us in the SPL.

  6. Inter are a very good team. That they struggled tonight is a a credit to us.

They aren’t dirty, they play nice attacking football.

As always, our enemy tonight was the refereeing.

The referee didn’t have too much to do tonight to appease his employers. Deny the penalty, send off a key player.

If only UEFA would realise that the success of their failing competition wasn’t based on rich teams qualifying, but on entertaining football.

Where do we go? The whole game is being ruined by money.

My thoughts are with RD and the team. As always, my love and respect for our fantastic club and supporters.

I hope the Italian rozzers laughed off any “advice” from focus.

Under the current corrupt circumstances, we found ourselves, yet again, being denied the joy of another Seville.

We love our Club, so what do we do when we are continually faced with corrupt competition??

Start our own, in Europe. Watch it take off.

Re the last goal. Gary McAllister was right, it was going to take something special to beat Craig Gordon.

Am sick of seeing our team (and support) playing out their skin only to be to be cheated time and time again.

    Final score 4-3.

    Ironic.

Positives, what a brilliant team and management we have. Change the board to a dictatorship of Jimbo67 then we’ll conquer Barca.

Give us a fair competition, anyone??

  7. unbelievable to read the posts about VVD,

sent off for two non bookings when you see some

of the other tackles that were let go

  8. Forrest the only disappointment for me tonight. No fire in the belly and nothing constructive from him. I’d let him go; he doesn’t fit in this team.

All others gave it everything but once again MIB does for us.

Would Legia have horsed us if we had met now?

No, we’d beat them. They themselves got horses 0-3 at home to Ajax tonight

  10. Hardgreaves criticising Biton is extraordinary. He was absolutely magnificent! Proud of everyone.

  11. A Ceiler Gonof Rust on

A gutsy performance by Celtic and only unfone by crap officiating. Extremely positive for the furure if we continue improving the way we have recently.

Celtic can leave with their heads high.

    So nearly.

  12. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Why was Commons so angry at the end?

    ****

    We’re you not ?

  13. the glorious balance sheet on

The referee in the Feyenoord game is called Turpin. A name more befitting the clown that refereed our game.

  14. I hate to say this we have our own homegrown Scottish version of Boerrigter in James Forrest. A change or loan out (to Dundee Utd) might do him good.

  15. Shortbread doing there best to say it wasn’t a great effort and we are paranoid ‘again’,

    Arseholes

  16. The great thing is that this team is really developing and odds on for the treble. You could see Ronny was fuming. So was I but I love the hunger written all over his face. He’s a proper leader.

  17. Did not think VWD bookings were justified but needed avoid giving the inter players a chance to dive. Ref was not very good at all. Man of the match for me Biton then Brown followed by Ambrose who played very well.

Apart from big John thought the other 2 panel members were tools..

  18. joe filippis haircut

I agree re VVD he has a hell of a lot to learn he can become a great player although not entirely convinced, if we get offered >£10m I would Bite their hand off

  19. Ohit’s.

    I take your point.

The ONLY bit of the match I saw was the goal.

I was too nervous to watch.

I went down to my living room with 4 mins to go ,hoping to see Commons hit a 25 yard winner.

Before my erase hit the chair Guarin hat hit the screamer.

I about turned ,and cursed my way back upstairs to my bedroom and iPad.

  20. Well done the Hoops and Kris Commons for pulling up the ref.

    1984

    Dundee Un 2 v Roma 0.

    Leg 2 in semis.

Ref took 50 k return leg, confirmed by his son later to ensure Roma won 3-0.

Thankfully, Liverpool beat Roma on pens in European Cup Final.

    Ref tonight a disgrace.

No penalty when Armstrong kneed in the back.

Yellow cards for Virgil a disgrace.

Elbow on face to Johansen ?

Armstrong interviewed, saying he was fouled.

    Anyway, helds held high.

    Sheep on Sunday.

    HH.

  21. Typical refereeing performance when it is an Italian club under pressure. Shocking performance by the officials. We got absolutely nothing. Virgil’s first booking was a joke and the second could have gone either way. No wonder Commons was raging at the end.

We never had a chance once we went down to 10 men. Proud of the Bhoys and we can look forward to the CL qualifiers with a positive outlook.

    Hail Hail.

  22. BITON is the find of the season.

    He is calmness personified.

If he can add a few goals to his game he would be an international star.

    The second booking, yes

  24. Wee Jamsie is not any good.

Does not go by the fullback on the outside.

    Does not track back.

    Is feart to tackle anybody.

    And is generally pish.

    Get rid.

  25. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

Shortbread shocking. Nothing wrong with the ref, Van Dijk’s fault. Nobody even mentioned the goal kick/corner. Total clowns – Richard Gordon is as bad as all the others. Never understood why some on here seem to like him.
