Where do UEFA get referees like that ? He give Celtic nothing. Any 50:50 went to Inter. It is no wonder KC was angry. He could see clearly the way the whole game went! Forest certainly needs to look at himself, while I thought Biton was again a stand out. We generally expect it from Gordon! The good thing is we continue to see the progress under RD and we shall continue to improve.

Very proud of Celtic tonight. Lots of good and brave performances. Bitton was a star. I also thought Drnayer, Broonie, Armstrong and GMS were outstanding. Craig Gordon totally redeemed himself tonight. Whit a keeper.
I noticed on SSN earlier today they showed a clip of Steve Simonsen at Zmurray Park in relation to his betting suspension but featuring heavily in the clip was our very own Craig Gordon in his Sevco training gear. Why didn’t they show footage of Simonsen making an absolute arse of himself against Dundee Utd. when they lost 3-1 in the SC at Ibrox.

Agree that JF didn’t put in the effort. When you compare the running of Johansen (who had been on for the whole game) in the last 5 minutes with that of Forrest, a late sub, it isn’t good enough. Had LG not injured himself yesterday I think it would have been a whole different game for us, with far more chances coming our way. And if we’d have had either of the penalties that we should have had before VVD was wrongly sent off, we’d have won this game.
Well done Bhoys, let’s regroup, beat the Dons 5-0, win the treble and prepare for an assault on the Champions League next season.
for those asking celtic to put together a dvd of cheating ref forget it they woundnt do it against sevco so Europe for get it.

Gutted because we could have won that. For large spells in both matches we were the better team. Maybe not individually but collectively.

Full marks to the Celtic players and coaching staff for putting on a very heartening display in the face of clearly biased refereeing.
We come out of this tie with credit. Inter join Juventus and Roma in the long list of cheating bar steward Italian teams that win games not on the park but through the provision of brown envelopes to referees before matches.

fed up taking these european referees on the chin – feel totally helpless and angry when celtic do nothing about it! i’m ok losing a game but the referee performance means we will never know who would have won with honest officiating.
Bitton is an absolute standout, he was the best player on the park by a mile.
Hargreaves on BT critisising Bitton’s performance, tried to pin the goal on him because he was caught upfield.
