    From an earlier post that went awol, I thought Scott Sinclair played for about two minutes today, which was about 10% more than Dembele.

     

    We almost always struggle in Inverness, just happens. Lesson learned and move on, hopefully.

    I’ll judge him when the team settles PhilBhoy, and other, better teams than we are right now have and will ship goals to that Barca team.

     

    I like CG and would be happy to see him back in the team, but his form had definitely dropped prior to him being dropped.

     

    i think judging the keeper on that Barca game isn’t fair nor realistic, it was a one of.

     

    In the domestic games he has lost 4 goals, 1 against Aberdeen, we won the game, 1 v Sevco, we won the game and 2 today.

     

    I trust what Rodgers is doing, simples.

    Bhoylo is correct. Nobody should expect to go through a season & win every game.

     

    We were the better team today & should have won but as always a one goal lead is always dodgy and so it turned out. I too was annoyed at the needless free kick out wide but it happens. KT is a super Bhoy and will get better & better but he is not immune to slip ups or bad decisions no more than anyone else

     

    It is what it is, next match please.

    The longer we didn’t get the third I think we knew they’d get one chance.

     

     

    Teams only need one chance against us and they can get a goal.

     

     

    There is a lot of work needed on the team yet and we are in no way the finished article.

     

     

    It’s been a bad week but we know how to fix it. I hope Brendan does.

     

     

    If that keeper plays the next two games I think he does not.

     

     

    I would bring back Toure and partner him with Simunovic.

     

     

    Our last clean sheet was Motherwell at home and before that Lincoln Red Imps at home. Not exactly sterling opposition in at least one case.

     

     

    Gordon is more assured and a better shot stopper which is what we need – a guy who can make a big save after long spells of inaction. De Vries has had 4-5 games and has not made one good save of note. Just catching practice as far as I can remember.

     

     

    Even a team as bad as the Govan Galacticos got a goal against this defence out of nothing.

     

     

    There is a long way to go and if we don’t blow the opposition away we have issues with high balls and switching off.

     

     

    Get it sorted pronto.

    1 game at a time, Wee reality check for us. DDV has made more mistakes the Gordon in 3 weeks.

     

     

    Brendan must be brave and swap him out, Def mid still needed, why can’t anyone see that? Anyway was a perfect Sunday until we missed 10 chances.

    Naw, seriously, I thought Tierney had a good game, but we were playing the team who are bottom of the league. Who, by the way managed to draw with us.

     

     

    We now have 2 fullbacks who are tooooooo weeeeee in my opinion.

     

     

    And Lustig is shot,

     

     

    Shevchenko is wee, slow and could have cost us today, again.

     

     

    We have major problems at the back and although the midfield looked great today, we didny win.

     

     

    The only physical presence we have in midfield is Broony.

     

     

    Henderson too, but Brendan Disney play him.

     

     

    But, Brendan knew that already, but……………signed , err, naedby in that position.

     

     

    So, we go with what we’ve got.

     

     

    Man City will rip us to shreds at the least unless………………..well I’m f***** if I know.

    Better second half performance, but for an inspired keeper and magnetic woodwork, we would have had our most convincing win up there.

     

    Having said that, much work to be done on the defence. Every cross carried menace and we haven’t improved the goalkeeping position.

     

     

    We appeared to have weakened the right back position.

    I agree with the refs assessment that the ICT player had lost control of the ball.

     

    His movement into Eric’s path looks like an attempt to block our player making contact inevitable.

     

    A more ‘experienced’ referee would’ve awarded a penalty if only to avoid the media shit storm that’s heading his way.

     

    We dropped points today due to poor finishing, nothing else.

    Brendan should replace John Kennedy and recruit a defensive coach

     

    We have poor defensively since Ronnie arrived, with John Knnedy given defensive coach role then

     

    Get big Johann Mjallby back, or even John Hughes to do the role, and get us defending better

     

    .

     

     

    Other than that, back to 3 pts ahead in the league with a game in hand. – nice :-)

    These games come along now and again. Another game another place we could have won 5-2. Their Goalie had a great game end off ours ??????????. On what I seen today, we will stroll this league.

    Enough chances to win two games. Their keeper had a great game.

     

    Ours didn’t. Need a defender or two who can win balls in the air.

     

    Also need to stop giving away so many free kicks in positions where big team can shell the ball into our penalty box.

    Bit of a euro hangover, Iness never an easy place to get 3 points, but we should have, sloppy defending and misfiring forwards cost us two points.

     

    Not downhearted tho, it happens, better to get the dropped points over with now.

     

    Today will have shown Brendan so much more imo that the defeat in Barca, we are still woefully short in a few positions, as for slagging the keeper, who’s to say CG would have done better, for all we know we could have lost more goals, tho I did think he could have done better with the first today, he was too far out of his goal imo, had he been back on his line it would have been a routine save.

     

    We will drop more points over the rest of the season and the sense of entitlement will be OTT each time, we are Celtic supporters, not huns.

     

    Oh, am surprised Erik didny get a red card, had it been another cheat with a whistle he would have walked, so I doubt we will see much more of this fella, who has a last first name who should fit in quite well at the sfa.

    Like many other posters I am not convinced by De Vries. Since the Aberdeen game I have not witnessed one contribution to suggest that he is better than Craig Gordon.

     

     

    Maybe in time he will prove his worth, but at Celtic he does not have that time.

     

    I trust Brendan will be ruthless.
