Juranovic and disruptive publicity

Nothing makes sense about the reports that Manchester United and Chelsea are considering a bid for Josip Juranovic.  It is just less than a year since the player signed for Celtic.  For much of that time he played at left back, a position he had never played before and did not enjoy.

33 starts across domestic and European football later, precious few of them in his favourable position, he has two of the highest spenders in European football keen, after Atletico Madrid were supposedly interested?  While he was an important part of the story last season, his impact was significantly less than at least four other new arrivals.  I’m not seeing the evidence leading to such interest.

What we know for sure is that this publicity is disruptive.  I am also sure the newspapers reporting did not make the story up, there is a source of the disruption.  Jura will move on eventually, but it would take a spectacular bid to convince Celtic that time was now.  In the meantime, all they can do is try to disuade the disrupter.

Good luck to Dundee United in Alkmaar tonight.  I suspect they are not ready for the challenges of away games in Europe, but reaching the Conference playoff round would be a huge achievement.  It would also give them a chance of stemming the flow or red ink all over their accounts.

    I think it was to do with the schemes used by Spurs to transfer seat on match day.iirc you gave a breakdown of types/partial ownership of season ticket,(half/third/ etc seats.I thought it was interesting too as ticketing strategies are always being looked at.     What’s good about BMCW adding filters onto the blog so that THE LIONS ROAR and KEVJUNGLE couldn’t post under his real name, thenBMCW moaning about multi posters?

    BMCW brazenly, and loose mouthed, openly bragged about putting filters onto the blog so that 2 posters, THE LIONS ROAR, and, KEVJUNGLE, so that they couldn’t post under their own name, then when challenged about this, BMCW, deleted the posts of him bragging about filters, and started complaining about multi posters?

     

    There were certain periods when SC blog would be down because of outages or something, and when blog came back on, all the posts pointing out BMCW duplicity, or lies, these posts had strangely disappeared?

     

    THE LIONS ROAR, pointed out on SC, through various informed posts, that Celtic’s audited accounts were far from what they are presented as.

     

    BMCW deleted all of these informed posts without any recourse?

     

    Why would BMCW take that course of action, without offering an alternative argument that would’ve destroyed, THE LIONS ROAR, presentation?

     

    Banning any discussion about THE LIONS ROAR info made BMCW look shifty, dodgy, cowardly, complicit even, don’t you think?

     

    Surely if something seriously untoward is going on with Celtic`s finances then fans are entitled to know what that is, don’t you think?

    One of the things lost are those rich local dialects,that Ireland had many of,(house growing up was visited with ones from all over Ireland :-) ,lost as language is same to all on ‘net.loik! :-))

    I rarely post but have been here since black Sunday, I lurk in equal measure on Sentinel Celts. On the subject of chaff, trolls and multi monikers may I suggest that less is more and we revert to days of old when such posts were met with simply one word….buzz!
