JUST CAPITAL: CELTIC CAN SEAL TITLE AT HEARTS

0

CELTIC have the opportunity to seal their second successive Premiership title against Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday May 7.

Ange Postecoglou’s side will travel to the capital in their first game after the split – and a victory will make certain the flag will by flying over the east end of Glasgow for the eleventh time in 12 years.

The champions are 13 points clear at the league summit and can clinch the silverware – a week after they have the chance to win a place in the Scottish Cup showpiece on June 3 when they face Michael Beale’s side at Hampden in the semi-final showdown.

The Hoops are scheduled to play at Ibrox on May 13 in the final derby of the season.

CROWNING GLORY…Ange Postecoglou with the 2021/22 Premiership trophy.

Postecoglou’s players have triumphed in the home encounters – 4-0 in September and 3-2 earlier this month – while the January 2 match in Govan ended all-square at 2-2.

Celtic also beat their city rivals 2-1 to lift the League Cup in February.
