It’s going to be difficult picking 3 players for Jobo

wow, that was pretty bad.

I think we do have a good squad, its utlizing it and tinkering that are the issue.
The whole team look disinterested and unmotivated is a bigger issue for me,
from last week to this is very hard to understand,

Their keeper didn’t make a save.

Our setup is crap. Lennon was schooled today. Many others will do the same.

Awful cross from Ntcham.
FFS. I’ve read all the crap from NFL about the importance of the season, of the players buying into that, of the vital nature of every match.
But this XI simply did not turn up today. No urgency from the players or management during the game. Lennon sat on his rear for the majority of the game. Nothing on the sideline from any of the staff.
This gambling with 10 is totally unacceptable. Totally. Every game counts.
The fans responded with record season books despite the pandemic.
Yet we have been scraping around looking at the likes of Steven Fletcher.
This must stop now.

We should have been able to pick a team from our resources to go out and compete with Kilmarnock, we knew it was a scrap but we pick tanner ball player when we cant get the ball to them and when we do have nobody other that OE ahead , reponsibilty for this with a weeks prep is the manager and his coaches, shambolic

Neil. Don’t play two wide men again
Not a disaster. But if we do it again and again like b4 Xmas it will become
Nice to see the 60m sitting in bank and bringing on the Kennedy / lawwell signing in last 5 mins

Very poor.
From our 5-1 win at ibrox, back in !April 2017, we have really regressed.
Worrying stuff

Barkas the only man with pass marks for me. Awful performance. If Lenny stays loyal to Brown then I fear we’ll have more days like today.
Admittedly all the outfield players were poor today but Brown looks way off the pace in that key central mid position.

No width on right hand side, the whole second half

poor performance, however, that pitch, and killie tictacs, and refereeing levellers, it is what it is.

Not sure that’d bother them. It stops the ten….I think they’d rather win the league but would still be delighted if it wasn’t us.

Started off wae the wrong shape….trying to catch up late in the game to no effect….well done Celtic well done Killie…..that wiz a borefest….4 from 6…my Jobo picks are gonna b impossible….he played midfielf..i think ;-((
Broonie not at the races should have been subbed at HT. No MOTM, nobody gets pass marks. Their keeper wasted a minimum of 10 minutes of regulation time and was allowed to get away with it. That said an extra 10 minutes wouldn’t have made any difference.

Mcgregor was atrocious passes it sideways and back nice for his stats and reputation though

Not sure why we’ve gone back from the 3-5-2 that served us so well in the second half of last season.
I thought we’d be up for this but we look leggy already after just one game.
Really hope we’re not relying on another Rangers collapse.

What a disappointing performance after last week. We played right into their hands.
No width, no imagination, no passion, no tactical innovation, no change in attitude.
Killie are a poor team, on a poor pitch but deserved a result as they played to plan,
We didn’t have a plan. If we did and it wasn’t;t working we didn’t change anything.
Long way to go but that was uninspiring and way below the expected standard.

Forget the referee, who was awful and forget the plastic pitch, this was the worst Celtic performance in many a long year. If this continues, we can forget ten in a row!

When you have to throw Julienne up as a centre forward ,then it shows how lacking you are in creativity and physicality.
We lack Aggression pace ,power and height in all areas of the park.
Two good strikers that compliment each other is a must .
Not often we have so many of our big players off their game at the same time. A bit of deja vu seeing us tip tap passes across side to side in front of 11 men who have plenty of time to funnel back.
Fact is though , but for a terrible piece of defending we would have walked away with 3 points , flat performance or not .
Hope it was a one off. Back on the plastic on Wednesday , when we need to show our class and our 10 in a row intent.
IniquitousIV on
Utterly abysmal. The only player to get pass marks is Barkas. Maybe this woeful performance will quell the hubris and HWGTIAR chants. How anyone can be complacent about the challenge facing us, given the lack of talent in this team, our lack of decisiveness in the transfer market, and our failure to plan, is incomprehensible.
Raskolnikov on
I think that was the worst game of football I’ve ever seen. For seeing so much of the ball, Taylor is generally a very ineffective player. The whole team displayed a worrying lack of urgency from the first whistle. Ajer to Milan? You’re having a laugh…
Saint Stivs on
Lack of talent ? seriously ? 11 trophies in a row.
get some perspective.

We were playing on a living room carpet. That pitch was narrowed and shortened. The ball was sticking to it probably because it wasn’t watered. Then pack 11 players behind the ball. Any team would find it difficult to break that down. I think the team gave up trying in the last 20 mins. Kilmarnock played a blinder. From ground staff to coaching to team. Sent out to spoil and they did just that.

Two good strikers that compliment each other is a must .
Two big strong full backs.
A big strong CH and CF ,
Plus a couple of decent wingers.
Just about a whole team required.
Based on that performance.
I fear the worst .
No panic…but we need to toughen up
