Griffiths through the middle for me. I can see why he is out on the wing but he’s better in a central position.
Lasley, in the first leg, must have thought all refs were like the eejits we have here, who are very lenient with him.
I do have a sense of joy at him being mainly responsible for his side’s aggregate defeat. Another one who the media catchphrase, good honest pro, is used to describe him. Most of us have a more appropriate name for the likes of him and Hamill, ex of the maroon balloons.

I may be in a minority of one but apart from the karma that befell Lasley, I am sorry that Motherwell are out. We need all Scottish teams to succeed. Motherwell also tweeted their congratulations to us for beating KR.
I watched the Dons tonight do well against Groningen. They were terrific in the first half going 2-0 up before losing a goal to a strong header on the stroke of half time. Groningen came out fired up for the second half and Aberdeen managed to hold on mainly due to Barry Robson being introduced in the second half and using his experience and muscle to good effect. Well done Aberdeen!

IMHO this will be the toughest team we have faced outside of Group stages in a number of years.
If we play as we did against Elfsborg or Krazaagrandy, we could be in trouble.
There are a few reasons to be optimistic and some to worry.
Versus last year’s qualifiers we have added Johansen and VVD . Also Puuki, and Griffiths looks as though they are on the verge of being able to step up.
( I realise a couple of those guys were signed last year, but contribution was negligible)
The team also looks physically sharper than last year
On the downside, we have lost Ledley, who could add vital goals, Sammi and Scott Brown.
I also think we look vulnerable to counter attacks.
I think the key to getting through is getting Forrest and Watt fit for the return leg, and possibly getting a game out of Boerrighter.
If we could get to half time in 2nd leg and still be in the tie ( either a draw or a goal down) Tony and Jamesy have both shown the can be game changers at top level.
I’ll stick my neck out on 2:1 defeat away, and 2:0 win at home.

both articulate, professional , and nice persons.
i dont get the demonising of a tough opponent.
lasley is no hun. and i know this as a fact.
he is from tough scouser boxing stock, his dad, and nicer people you couldnt meet,
you just wouldnt want to fight them.

They rely on cluggers like Lasley who get away with murder in Scotland, but are found out easily when they play in a fairly refereed competition.

We were in cruise control on Tuesday but we did leave gaps at the back,better teams will exploit.
At one point Efe was our only defender back and Liam Henderson noticed and moved into our half in case Reykjavik broke. That boy has a football brain. I know Reykjavik probably wouldn’t have scored if they got a breakaway but I liked Liam’s reaction when Virgil moved forward.
