    Just back from Livingstone.

Hope all the hand wringers and one pointers from previous pages had as good a day as I had.

  2. Outstanding today, some really key performances throughout. Attitude was spot on and work rate back to where it can be. Bitton was good in the DM position allowing Cal to push on, it was something that worked well. Rogic looked up for it and played well. Maeda was a thorn in their side all day long, it was i thought his best performance so far. Ralston was immense. Credit to James Forrest too.

A mention for the fans who turned out in numbers and backed the team vociferously.

  3. why do I get the feeling all the 1 pointers wanted a loss today so that they could come on and say ,told you so , a point would’ve been a good result today.

  4. Big Starfelt is growing into a fine Centre back.

Lacks a bit of confidence on the forward foot but by goodness he is learning every game.

Great performance from the big Swede

KDB again. Wouldn’t be too happy again with the defending were I a Manure fan.

Watching the Manchester game on Mexican TV. The commentators ( one is Argentine ) go absolutely bonkers after a goal. Great to hear.

The relentlessly self promoting and mercenary Pogba ( hawking himself to any wealthy Club as a free transfer with him getting the fee ) is one lazy bassa.

This game is very significant to Man U. Arsenal are presently fourth, with games in hand, as have Spurs. If Man U do not get into the CL, Cristiano is for the off, as he will refuse to play in a ‘second class’ competition like the Europa League. No sirree, not for him, thank you very much.

  8. Celts were Brill today ,couldn’t give a fuck about the song book or the mancy derby …give the real

    Celtic fans fekn peace.HH

Wonder what Swalex thinks of Pogba. I think he’d get more than the hairdryer treatment.

  10. Saint Stivs – Sky said the songs were fantastic and showed the spirit behind an occupied country (Eire) and an oppressed people and that it was refreshing instead of the usual sectarian bile that spouts from a Victorian lavatory block in the south side of Glasgow that Kris Boyd played for but never really against Celtic.

Hope that clears up the song book issue

    Great performance just great

David66, glad to hear that you’re on the mend, you Garngad ruffian. Spoke to BJ on Friday and he was still poorly. Me and big Mick C drank both yer quotas. 😂

AZ Alkmaar, after a poor start, have climbed the Eredivisie to reach 4th. Looking forward to watching them play at Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.

  13. Four weeks today we go to Ibrox. Between now and then we visit Tannadice in the Cup and host RC on the 19th in the league. That is it.

We have a terrific opportunity to get players fully fit and Ange has the unexpected bonus of extra time to work with the players on the training ground.

We should be absolutely flying out of the traps on April 3rd.

Deniabhoy, spot on. They are shitting their union jack pampers about going to Belgrade already.

I really really really enjoyed that, sausage with no commentators, our biggest away win, support giving it laldy supporting the team to the end, not reading in game bloggers slagging off everything and anything.

*Fully concur here, I didn’t hear the songs as I turn the volume down, did the same with the Liverpool/Hammers game yesterday, would love to just hear the crowd but seems that’s not possible.

As for the “soon there’ll be no ken dodds at all” not inspiring the players, didnae do them any harm when the Jungle was belting it out with the Faither in goal, big Tam running up the wing, Wispy firing home on a regular basis and wee ten thirty sitting on the ball taking the pi88 out of the opposition.

He actually done that at the bigot dome on his last game for the hibbees, oh and let’s not forget the greatest manager in my lifetime and arguably the greatest of all time in the dugout.

At least 4 of those mentioned were in the craft as well, didnae hold them back when getting tore intae the their worshipful brithers.

I am also well aware that some of the mother country’s finest heroes such as Robert Emmett and Wolfe Tone were not of the one, true, holy and apostolic faith, so what, these songs are not aimed at them but the haters in what has been described as the most anti Catholic country in the western world.

When I used to go hame and travel up in a local supporters bus, I once asked a young lad who never missed a game home and away, if he could help it, after a game at swinecastle why all the rebs that day, no that I minded, I joined in

His response was not all the time, they kept them usually for places like Kirkcaldy, Swinecastle, Motherwell, bigot dome etc where they knew the local support despised us.

I don’t write too often on this site anymore as it has been polluted by too many who are pretentious with their not so hidden agenda.

However all I can say now, and I will be ¾ century old later this year, is let the people sing let the people sing their stories and their songs.

Oh and unless you have something positive to say please don’t reply to this post as I honestly couldnae give a donald duck.

Having had the joy of a commentary free link I would be interested if those watching sky heard anything said about the song book.

    ——————

    Sky didn’t say anything.

I never heard the ‘one road’ sectarian lyric so maybe they saw it coming and dropped the sound a bit – or I’m going a bit corned beef! They allowed all the IRA songs full volume.

Perth as well. I think that was probably about the Black Watch connection.

  18. To ntine more power to your elbow.

I wonder if that japanese film crew that follows our four ninja turtles has translated the words yet and asked them bhoys their thoughts.

It adds atmosphere. Broadcasters love it.

Imagine they only had their mics on the home fans?

    Snoooooooooozefest.
